章節 2: Chapter Two: Kidnapped
Louinna Therese's POV
"Hey! I don't want to ride in that kind of vehicle! Like, duh?!" Crystal complained. Well, I just suggested that we should ride on a jeepney.
"You are going to ride or you are going to walk until you reach the mall which is 10 miles away? Kindly choose, Crystal Jade de Guzman."
"Ugh! I will go to our house and I will ride on my Mercedes-Benz. Kita-kits na lang tayo sa mall! Bye bye!"
Before she could walk to the opposite direction of the jeepney's location, I dragged her to the jeepney which made her shout.
"YAAAAAAAAAH! I said I don't want to! Mausok kaya diyan! Baka akala ng mga tao sa mall ay nasunugan tao dahil amoy usok tayo!" muling reklamo niya. Habang lumalapit kami sa jeep ay mas lalong lumalakas ang pagrereklamo niya.
Hindi ko na siya pinansin pa. Eksakto namang dalawa na lang ang kulang na pasahero nung jeep bago umalis kaya nang makasakay na kami ay umandar na ito kaagad.
Mula nang magsimula ang aming byahe ay hindi na siya nagsalita pa. Even I didn't say a single word.
I looked at the time and it's already past eleven o'clock. Ugh! How long would it take for us to reach Palivious Mall?! If I had known, I shouldn't have suggested riding on this jeep. I should've rode on Crystal's Mercedes-Benz since she also doesn't want to ride on a jee---
The thoughts that are lingering inside my head suddenly stopped circulating when I heard a giggle. I turned to the direction where the giggle came from and saw Crystal. She was the one who's giggling. No, both of them. She's talking to a guy beside her.
I held her arm to steal her attention. She looked at me with a bright smile.
"Why?" she asked.
"Are you friends with him? Who is he? How did you two ended up talking like close friends?" I asked.
"Shhh. Just shut up. I am enjoying this moment!" she said without bothering to answer my questions. She then turned to the guy she is having fun with and talked again.
We reached the mall at exactly twelve o'clock.
Habang naglalakad kami papunta sa Dairy Queen, ang bukambibig niya lang ay puro MARK. Mark pala ang pangalan nung lalaking kausap niya kanina sa jeep. Kesyo gwapo daw, mabait, masunurin, gentleman... Ugh! So sick of those MARK descriptions!
She kept on talking. Actually, I didn't listen to all of the words that escaped from her mouth because I am thinking about something. At iyon ay ang GUTOM ko!
We went to Dairy Queen and ordered foods. I ordered Peanut Butter Sundae, Sunshine Orange Light Smoothie, Buffalo Chicken Snack Melt, Chicken Bacon BBQ Snack Melt, Crispy Chicken BLT Salad, and Crispy Chicken Sandwich. In every food that came out from my mouth, the waitress' eyes became wider and wider as if she was shocked.
Nang maibigay na ng waitress ang mga pagkaing inorder ko ay nilantakan ko ang mga ito agad. The Chicken Bacon BBQ Snack Melt is soooooooooo delicious! I'm thinking of including this food on my list of favorite foods.
"Ehem!"
I turned my gaze to Crystal's direction who made the ehem sound. She looked... amazed? No. More like SHOCKED while looking at me. Her eyes were wide open while sharply pointed on me.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?", I asked.
She shook her head while uttering the words, "Anong nangyayari sa'yo? Bakit? B-Bakit?"
I don't understand her. She's the one who's acting weird today. Bawat subo ko nga kanina ay nakatitig siya sa akin.
Hindi ko na lang ulit pinansin ang mga pinagsasasabi niya.
I was about to eat my Crispy Chicken Sandwich when she talked.
"What is really happening to you? Tingnan mo nga 'tong kinakain ko, o. Isang Sandwich lang tapos ikaw?! OMG! Hindi ikaw si Therese! That is so not you!" she said which seemed like a nag.
What she said was really... "Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Is that your problem? Then order some more! Hahahahahahahaha! Kaloka ka! Naiinggit ka lang yata, eh! Hahahahahahahahahaha!"
"Tapos ngayon tumawa ka pa ng malakas at mahaba. Hindi naman talaga ikaw 'yan, eh! Demonyong sumanib kay Therese, lumayas ka! Iwanan mo na ang katawan niya dahil AYKENNAT! Tama na ang isang demonya! Demonya na siya kaya tama na!", sigaw niya.
Nanlalaki ang matang napatingin ako sa kanya sabay batok.
"Yah! Eating many is my stress reliever! Don't shout about my body being stolen by a demon! And... don't call me a demon because that word only suits you," I said and grinned.
"Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Lumayas ka sa katawan ng babaeng ito! Hindi mo pag-aari ang katawan niya!"
I was shocked, no, more than shocked when someone grabbed my hand and touched my forehead na para bang may pinapalayas siya sa katawan ko. Alam niyo yun? Hindi? Bahala kayo diyan! He even closed his eyes.
I saw Crystal who is now bursting into tears. Not because she was sad but because she was preventing herself from laughing hard.
She mouthed the words 'He is a pastor and he heard what I shouted a while ago about the demon thingy' habang naka peace sign. Arggggh!
I mouthed back the words 'What the hell?!' to her and there. She laughed hard! Nakakainis!
"Shh. Hija, huwag kang maingay kung gusto mong mailigtas ang kaibigan mo mula sa masamang espirito na sumanib sa kanya," suway ng pastor kay Crystal.
Lalo namang lumakas ang tawa niya kaya napamulat na ang pastor at tumingin kay Crystal na nas likod niya.
"Hija, huwag kang maingay," muling suway nito.
"Father, I was just joking a while back. I never thought that you will come. Sorry!" Crystal said as she asked for forgiveness.
"Ang ganoong mga bagay ay hindi dapat ginagawang katatawanan, hija. Tandaan mo iyan. Mula sa aking nakita nang hawakan ko ang kanyang noo ay may naghihintay na panganib sa kanya." sabi ng pastor.
He looked at me intently and said, "Hija, mag-iingat ka. may nakita akong panganib at malapit na iyon. Malapit na malapit na. Huwag kang magpapabaya."
He then bade farewell. But before he could turn his back on me, I saw a tear drop on his right cheek.
"Beshy Therese! Sorry na kasi! Best friend! Best friend!" Crystal said while running towards my direction. I, again, ran fast para hindi niya ako maabutan.
To my surprise, someone appeared in front of me. A guy who wears a black suit with an inner white colored polo partnered with black slacks and black shoes. He also wears a neck tie.
By what he wears, I can say that he is a business man.
"Excuse me." I said and moved a little to the right. When I was about to pass by him, he moved a little to the right as well, blocking my way.
"Sir, you're blocking my way," I told him while rolling my eyeballs.
"Come with me, miss Therese," he said and grabbed my arms as if he's arresting me.
"Why would I?! I don't even know you!" I shouted.
He looked at my eyes. I saw nothing but anger in those eyes.
"Beshy! Who is that guy? Boyfriend mo? Ipakilala mo naman!" Crystal shouted while gasping for some air. She is still kilometers away from me. GHAD! She must save me from this kidnapper!
'He is not my boyfriend! Help me! He is a kidnapper!' I mouthed.
But before she could reach my hand which I extended to reach for her hand, the big guy let me smell the handkerchief that he was holding which made me pass out.
Crystal Jade's POV
Hala! Bakit? Ano yung sinabi niya? Help lang ang nakita kong minouth niya ng malinaw! Ano kaya yun?
Kanina pa ako nakaupo sa sofa dito sa bahay. Pilit kong inaalala ang bawat galaw ng labi ni Therese kanina. Ano ba kasi ang sinabi niya?! Arggh! That girl really is giving me a headache!
"Anak, why don't you eat first? Lalamig na ang pagkaing inihanda ko. Guess what it is? It's lasagna!" sabi ni mommy.
"Wala akong ganang kumain, mommy," I said and pouted.
"Why, anak? What's wrong?"
"Si Therese po kasi, mommy. Huhu."
"Bakit, anak? Nag-away ba kayo? Gusto mo bang kausapin ko siya?"
"No, mommy. Kanina kasing nasa mall kami, kumain kami sa DQ tapos pagkatapos namin doon, nagkahiwalay kami dahil may nangyari. Tumakbo siya tapos may bigalng sumulpot sa harapan niya, lalaking naka-business suit. Bago sila umalis, she mouthed me something."
"Eh, ano naman yun?"
"Yun nga mommy, eh. Hindi ko po naintindihan. Help lang ang naintindihan ko. Ano kaya yun, mommy?"
"Malay ko! Problema mo na 'yan! Bahala ka diyan!"
'Yon lang ang huling salitang lumabas sa bibig ni mommy kasi umalis na siya. Huhu! Akala ko naman matutulungan niya ako! Huhuhu!
Umakyat na lang ako sa room ko para mag-isip.

Hala! Alam ko na! Hindi kaya... Baka hindi niya kilala yung big guy kanina tapos kailangan niya ng tulong dahil re-rape'n niya si Therese?! OMG! This is so... UGH! Hindi pwede ito! Dapat ireport ko ito sa pulis! HUHUHU!
Agad kong kinuha ang cellphone ko at tumawag sa pulis.
Sana hindi pa huli ang lahat. Sana hindi pa siya ginagalaw ng pangit na big guy na iyon! Huhuhu!
