A portal opens and people pour through. Each of them looks like a heavenly being with sculpted bodies and beautiful angelic faces. The leader, a man in his prime, looks ageless and has an inquisitive look in his pure golden eyes.
As he looks around the darkness surrounding them, the ground seems to soften with their steps as the trees and other plants seem to grow toward them to welcome their arrival in a new world.
A middle-aged man, struggling to carry a heavy load, looks down at the ground in concentration to make sure he stays on the path. His grey eyes look up and they see an unexpected sight causing him to drop his load. An angelic figure with a pair of golden eyes appeared before him. He felt immediate reverence as if he had a natural desire to serve him. The golden eyes seemed hard enough to peer through a soul and soft enough to denote him as a kind person.
The man and the people behind him were simply unreal. They seemed to have a mythical and mysterious quality about them. He had never seen people with such features. As the man looked at them, he was continuously stunned at how attractive the group was. Their clothes seemed unfamiliar and out of place. Each of them wore coats of purple with a sheet-like overlay and black leather armor underneath. All of them were covered with a mysterious aura that seemed to command respect. The leader, a man with unusually white hair, gold eyes and tan skin wore a magnificently well-crafted necklace that had a falcon-like emblem.
The man was stunned and surprised himself by saying, " Can I serve you?"
The Alien being looked at the man shocked and confused. Never in his long years of life had he come across a new intelligent creature so physiologically similar to his own and yet not part of his Parthian race. The likelihood of evolution taking similar paths is as unlikely as finding a binary star system hurtling across the great void between galactic clusters.
He said in his smooth poetic language, "Can you speak Xarr or are you another uncivilized race?" He spoke with indifferent disdain as he stated the last part. He knew it was not likely they would understand, but Xarr had become the universal language of civilized galactic societies. If they could understand, it would signal that they were already integrated to some extent to True Civilization.
As the young man heard their tongue, his soul seemed to tremor. They were foreigners, yet this language seemed oddly familiar and unknown at the same time. The gold eyed man seeing that he didn't seem to understand motioned for the grey-eyed man to come.
The grey-eyed man, as he saw the gesture, could not even think to refuse. As the golden-eyed man touched him he felt a chilling sensation for a split second before it disappeared. The golden-eyed man said, " My name is Varan Vex of the Falcon family. What is your name?" The grey-eyed man seeing his directness simply said "Gilgamesh."

In a galaxy, trillions of light years away, there is a disruption. A light flares, as a large object enters the atmosphere of a planet orbiting a Dyson Sphere covered sun. The atmosphere is thin enough that the large object managed to land unharmed. A large alien creature lets out a horrid scream before dying. A small benign looking worm punctures its impossibly thick hide and slides out of its stomach. It screeches before hiding in the bush.
A beautiful man with startling red eyes and white hair walks out of the forest and looks at the large scary creature. He does not recognize it. He sees a worm wiggling around on the forest floor but ignores it. Clearly, the large unidentified creature was more important. The fact, that he did not know the creature was concerning, as he was part of the Parthian race. They all had genetically eidetic memories and were taught from a very young age all the creatures belonging to their galactic group. While that might seem insane, they had a very condensed lesson every day on various galactic subjects. A day could last a hundred, a thousand years or even more in their virtual enlightenment worlds. Worms are common and so he believed that the worm on the ground could be a mutated variety. The real mystery was the creature in front of him.
As the boy focused on diagraming the features of the creature with his Illavalu candle, the worm inched closer. The boy didn't even realize his mistake before falling over with his eyes closed as the worm was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, the boy's eyes opened and even more brilliant red eyes looked out into the unfamiliar surrounding forest.
Is he still a Parthian youngling, or only the worm? Is he something new entirely?
