Rachel relaxed her shoulders down as she looked out the window, Her Nephew is now a full functioning adult and a high-ranking soldier in the military and living very well with his hug and ugly dog named Julo.
Right now, she is wearing black, she is the organizer for Madam Valquíria, she had died recently.
It was a surprise to her but, she ended up seeing her parents and older brother visit and give their respects. They looked like they where trying to talk to her, they were not wearing glamorous thing anymore. She just ignored them.
She put her phone down on the table and headed towards the window as she watched everyone leave. She had just face timed her Nephew who is deployed, it was a nice chat that lasted an hour.
In the end President Érico, eventually proved himself and Rachel gladly took a step back. He is now CEO Érico.
Knock, Knock.
"Yes' Rachel automatically turned around. She saw gave the person a blank stare the moment he walked in.
It turned out to be her biological son and male lead. Rachel does not actually know much about the story of this world. She only knows who is the majority of the characters.
And that she is a character in the story who doesn't appear until the end.
"What are you doing here?" Rachel asked sharply, the youth about her Nephew's age just looks at her for a moment he seemed somewhat nervous. For the next moment, Rachel sighs and drops her shoulders as she goes and sits down. "How about you sit down?" She can kind of already understand what he is here for.
Her biological child Antonio sat across from her, and immediately Rachel was even more uncomfortable as she looked at him she turned her face away. She pulled out a picture from her wallet.
And handed it to him.
He looked at it and frowned, because it was a picture of a sad chubby and overweight little girl.
"That is me." Rachel said, leaning back. "I'm sure your Grandparents…. My Parents should you pictures of a skinny little girl, they must have told you that skinny little girl was me. NO, it was not that is my younger sister and your Aunt in this picture.
Your Grandparents where always embarrassed about my looks, so they refused to put me in any pictures. As a result, when it came to public my younger sister appeared in my place.
That included meetings with your father. If they didn't already explain to you about how out marriage was decided when we where children. My sister at that age was not a pleasant person either. I certainly didn't hate her but I never liked her.
That's is how things started..." Rachel got up quickly and grabbed a bottle of sweet wine and poured herself a glass. Before sitting back down.
"My sister did plenty of bad things in my name, she built up a reputation with it you know.
That why you hear a lot of bad things about me, bad things my parents refused to correct because that meant revealing that their eldest daughter was fat and ugly. So they turned the other way and ignored me."
Rachel looked between her glass and the cup; she felt the inner trauma rise within her as she spoke. But she thinks that Antonio regardless of how she felt needed to hear.
She picked up the bottle and chugged about half of it.
"But, That's not what you needed to hear. I was introduced to your father as the housemaid's daughter. I even had to take her name while going to School to prove it.
What do you think would happen then, they say boys will be boys. Even if's its cruel." Rachel still didn't look at him. "Your father loved to take his frustrations out on others, it was even more so when he was younger. I was just and unluckily recipient of such a thing."
She leaned back and placed a hand over her head, her head started to act over awful reverting voices.
"You can ask him if he remembers Laís Meireles. The Fat girl he bullied all the way through high school."
Rachel finally looked at the Grim faced, Antonio.
"I have a lot of griefs with the past, they didn't heal in time. When you came into the picture. Honestly, I do not think they will ever heal. So, I made the choice to leave. I think it worked out for the best for everyone.
I couldn't be your mother, but that doesn't mean someone else didn't give you. The Love you missed out on."
Rachel stood up, she was done talking. She could not be here any more so she walked out of the room. She saw the eavesdroppers and turned away.
Laís Family, her Ex-husband, his new wife and her ex-husbands parents. Antonio.
Was a little darling in their eyes. They must have been worried what she would tell him when he decided he wanted to go talk with his mother.
They thought she would hurt him more then she already.
But, now with her truth out. Suddenly they could not say anything. As they watched her walk away.
