章節 37: The Second Halloween
After the ''battle'' we had on the forest, I went to my bed to talk with Ifrit on a quiet place and i spent there all the afternoon.
Rainy- (then... what is this Daijuroku? And why they call me ''Stray one''?)
Ifrit- (... and why do you think I'll tell you that girl?)
Rainy- (because I'm awesome, and cute. Who wouldn't help a cute girl like me?)
Ifrit- (... ugh... why have you told her to extract me Odin? This will be hell for me...)
Odin- (don't worry, you'll see that she's more than what you see. I've been with her since she was 4, and I have to say that she has a lot more potential than Squall.)
Ifrit- (are you sure!? hmm, you are not one to tell jokes... then, what I've heard in the Daijuroku could be true. Girl, I have a lot to talk to you about your world, so listen up)
Rainy- (okay, not that I can not listen to you... you are in my head...)
Ifrit- (... first, I'll talk about your world, or worlds as the Daijuroku has discovered. This is something you don't know too, Odin, as you were with Rainy. Our world is part of a ''set'' of worlds... 15 in total. And they all have similarities on the monsters, magic or even important persons.)
Rainy- (wait. Odin told me that my world is a higher class one because of his originality. How can be 15 different worlds that are similar, original?)
Ifrit- (that's the odd part, it seems that all of them are inside the same ''dimension'' even if they are on different universes. So they count as 1. now, the Daijuroku is a group of 16 people of this worlds. One of each one. And they all have the special trait that they can learn, or assimilate, special traits of this different worlds. For example, the one you just killed, Daikun, was from the 5th world. But could use junction, which is an ability from the 8th world, your world.)
Rainy- (then, there are another 15 people with similar weird traits?)
Ifrit- (no, 14 actually. As you were appointed as the 16th member of the Daijuroku.)
Rainy- (what!?)
Ifrit- (you see, you are pretty special even among them. You can copy traits even from other dimensions like this one. That's why they left you here using that dark lord. The plan was to let you live here some years, make sure you learned this world magic, and then regenerate the dark lord, making you come back to our world. Of course, as I can see, that didn't work. The dark lord did something wrong, you didn't appear on the ritual place, and you are not going back with the Daijuroku.)
Rainy- (then that's why they call me the stray one?)
Ifrit- (exactly. Now let's talk more about the Daijuroku. The organization is separated in 5 different ranks called Half. The first half are the 8 weakest members. The second half is the 4 next, the third half is the 2 next, the fourth half is the right hand of the boss, and the boss, called the last half. Is someone only the right hand can meet. If you are interested, Daikun was the strongest first half, or the ninth strongest of the organization. But the gap between first and second half is really something to take into account.)
Rainy- (then were I was going to be?)
Ifrit- (you? You were going to be the last first half, you are just a little girl right now, and you don't have the strength the other members have.)
Rainy- (I'll show them, I'm going to beat the last half's ass)
Ifrit- (hmm, if what Odin said is true, you maybe can on the future, but not now. You need to train more if you want to beat them... Daikun was stronger than you after all.)
Rainy- (only because of the Junction! ...I'll begin to train more tomorrow, Odin. Is that okay?)
Odin- (just don't overdo it, I also think you need more physical training, even if it's only to show Ifrit your determination.)
Rainy- (haha, I don't need training for that! With Harry on the school, something will happen eventually.)
Ifrit- (Harry? A native from this world? What does he have to do with anything-?)
Rainy- (you'll see...)
Halloween came, and with it, the deathday party of Nearly Headless Nick. Harry was invited, and told us (Hermione, Ron, and me) to go with him. We went to the dungeons, and we saw that Nick was waiting for us. He greeted us and lead us to the party. And leaving how cold everything was, and the fact that the music couldn't be called as such, it looked fun.
Then we spotted Myrtle, and it seems that Hermione don't like her. I'm not sure why, because I like to chat with her on the bathroom. It was quite unsettling at first, but, you know, I have two other beings inside my head. It's not like going to the bathroom is private anymore, so I went to greet her.
Rainy- hey Myrtle, how do you do?
Myrtle- !? who is it- oh! Rainy. What are you doing here?
Rainy- Nearly Headless Nick invited Harry Potter, and I came here with him. It's good to see you outside the bathroom!
Myrtle- oh? You are mocking me right?
Rainy- why would I?
Myrtle- because you are with your friends! And that's what everyone does!
Rainy-nah, they are Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. And I can assure you that if I were to joke about you, I would do so in front of you! That's what a Gryffindor does!
Myrtle-... I guess so...
Ron- why is she so aware of everyone? She's a ghost...
Rainy- *facepalm*
Then Myrtle went on rampage, saying what everyone says about her and rushing through the ceiling. The rest of the party was not that interesting, we saw some more ghosts but anything memorable, and soon we were going back. Then, out of nothing, Harry begun to hear something on the walls. As he was doing so and we were following him, I begun to hear Odin talk.
Odin- (it seems like he has a special trait to hear all that! You could try to copy it, as you did with this world's magic.)
Rainy- (I can do that!? why i couldn't before?)
Odin- (you could! But can you think of a situation were you had something to copy?)
Rainy- (err, no, I can't. but how can I now?)
Odin- (just extract it from him...)
Rainy- (won't he lose it then?)
Odin- (no, he won't. you will just copy it. After all, that is your special skill, normally you shouldn't be able to use extract! on someone outside our world.)
Rainy- (okay, Command! Extract!)
Then a window were there was only one ??? appeared.
Rainy- (I guess this is the only option then)
I accepted the ??? and soon after that, I begun to hear what Harry was talking about. A voice saying ''kill....kill....'' and ''I smell blood....I smell blood'' and both harry and I begun to run, with Hermione and Ron behind us.
Rainy- I can hear it too! We have to hurry!
Harry- really? I'm glad it isn't just me!
Hermione- why can't we hear it!?
Rainy- who knows!
Then we reached an empty hallway with Mrs. Norris hanging from a torch bracket, and, written in blood on the wall, ''THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS HAS BEEN OPENED. ENEMIES OF THE HEIR, BEWARE.''
Rainy- (... ugh... this is what I meant about Harry, Ifrit.)
Ifrit- (I see... amusing...)

Luxord I'll make it so that she can only copy or adapt to some special traits. she won't be copying everyone's skills, but she will be taking some game mechanics from the guys of the Daijuroku.
