"WHAT?!" Mittle and Bob shouted in astonishment.
"Surely you jest!" Bob shouted again.
Revant was savoring the moment, the reaction of Mittle and Bob was a sight to behold.
But Saitama was on the side, still looking confused.
"Is that true?" Mittle grabbed Revant's shoulder as she said in disbelief.
Revant didn't answer and just smiled smugly.
"It took 3 days to reach rank 1 to rank 9 body enhancer? Th-this is impossible, even I took a year to reach rank 9? What the hell?! Good god, what monster are you?" Mittle stepped back in horror, just wrapping her head around the fact of reaching rank 9 body enhancer in 3 days is just straight up ridiculously impossible.
In this Kingdom, the highest level of cultivation is the King, a Quasi-Diamond Core Formation, and prior to that are the very first: Body Enhancer, Spirit Formation, Core Formation, Silver Core Formation, Golden Core Formation and the highest is Diamond Core Formation in which existence is akin to a god in the Kingdom, even King himself is only a quasi-diamond yet already so powerful. Yet every breakthrough of each rank is more difficult than the other, yet Revant seemingly disregards the laws of cultivation, jumping ranks in just 3 days.
"You-but earlier when I tested you, you were talentless!! How could it be, is the crystal dysfunctional? Impossible, it is a treasure, it cannot be possibly dysfunctional!!!" Bob was still in disbelief as he started murmuring to himself.
"I was also confused Master, why did the crystal perceived me as talentless. Maybe it's broken?" Revant replied.
'Wait-could it be?' Bob hastily took out the quasi-heavenly treasure crystal. As he inspected it carefully, he found a crack that should never even be there.
Bob was once again in a state of bafflement. In his realm, this kind of feat didn't exist, it is just plain impossible. Even him, The Soul Immortal, with a devilish and monstrous talent in cultivation took him 10 days in reaching Peak Body Enhancer. Even his disciple, Soul Fiend, a much more devilish genius than him still took 9 days to reach that stage. But to think this new disciple of his only took 3 days? No, it can't even be considered as 3 days but 2 days.
'Could it be that this crystal cannot measure his talents? Could it be that his talents even surpassed mine and my disciple's?' Millions of thoughts passed through his mind, and as he thinks about it, his shocked and astonishment was slowly replaced with excitement.
"HAHAHA, Good good good, to think that my new disciple's talent even surpassed mine. Good job hiding it from me lad, why didn't you tell me?" Bob cackled loudly, immensely feeling proud of his disciple's actual talent.
Bob only accepted Revant as his disciple because he admired the kid's will power and his ability to stay composes in extreme situations.
Never did he imagine to find such a treasure in this lowly lower realm. Never once did he met a person in his hundred of thousand of years of living to cracked the quasi-heavenly treasure crystal and completely making it unable to measure that person.
Bob was now surer than ever of Revant touching the boundary of that legendary realm in the far future.
Mittle herself was also in astonishment, she never knew someone even in the history of the kingdom having such heaven-defying talents. If one of the Sects knew about this matter, then surely there will be bloodshed happening, shedding all pretenses of cordiality just to get ahold of such treasure. Even the Royal Family will surely get involved.
"Woah, what is happening here? Anyone care to explain?" Feeling left out, Saitama joined in.
"Master, my disciple, and your little bro revealed his heaven-defying talents in cultivation, even surpassing mine," Bob said in excitement as his eyes twinkled very brightly.
"Woah, so does that mean I have the lowest talent here?" Saitama was a bit down.
Bob and Revant just smiled wryly.
"Whatever, it's not like I like cultivation anyway." Saitama grumpily said.
"Who taught you cultivation by the way?" Bob finally remembered what he's been wanting to ask for a while. Coming from a remote village, it is impossible to learn cultivation on your own, there must be someone that taught him.
Even a genius will find it hard to start cultivation in their own without techniques to follow to.
Hearing the question, Revant eyes brightened as if the person that taught him was someone very important to him.
It really is.
"It was my stepbrother, Altis, the grandson of the old village chief. Fortunately, he got recruited in a Sect after showing some talents in cultivation a year ago. He was the very person I can put my trust into, my best friend and my sworn brother. We treat each other as if we are blood brothers and support each other, care for each other, laugh together, hunt together, eat together." Revant revealed sentimental eyes, clearly showcasing how much he adores and loves this older brother of him.
"Last week, he visited the village after gaining permission from his Sect. The village immediately went into a celebration, preparing a big feast for Altis. The village was very jubilant of his return, everyone was very excited including me. Unfortunately, he can only visit for a very limited time, he only stayed for 2 days before going back to his Sect. But before that, he called me and told me that he will teach me cultivation, and that's when I learned it. Although it was just the 'Basic Cultivation' manual, I was still very grateful towards my brother. After showing brother my progress, he was exuberant of me having such fast progress. He said to me that when he comes back again in the future, he will introduce me to his Sect and be together with him. A few hours after that, he left and went back to his Sect. I am just thankful that he wasn't there in the time of strategy three days later after he left." Revant was very enthusiast talking about his brother, Altis.
"Oh, did he state what Sect he was in? Maybe I knew him." Mittle asked. As of now, she calmed down a bit but she was still in disbelief in Revant's talent.
"No he didn't, but he did say that he was in a powerful Sect," Revant replied.
"Well, he surely isn't from our Sect. I haven't heard of anyone named Altis in the outer sect disciples." Mittle muttered.
"Anyway, I think I can kind of help with your plan big bro," Revant said.
"I still don't get about that talent measuring thing but if you can help then sure," Saitama replied, looking a bit confused about the term cultivation talents. First, it was numbers then now it's colors, what is it really?
"Then what will you do Master?" Bob inquired.
A mysterious smirked appeared in Saitama's mouth.
"It's a surprise, you'll know then."
