章節 55: I am treating him special

She felt bad that he had to wake up early for her and drive for four hours. So she booked the cab. She did the same for her assistant Lilly many times.

"Thank you Ms.Sky for your consideration." Andy thanked and got down.

As soon as he got down, Sky stepped on the gas and drove off. She checked on the rearview mirror and noticed him taking the car.

She shook her head and thought, 'This idiot must have thought I am treating him special. Stupid.'

Andy hopped in the cab and went to his shared apartment.

Without any special events or activities, a month has passed.

Andy learned to do his work completely, he started to help Lilly in her work and everything worked smoothly. Sky's load also decreased little. She started to go home on time.

Sky felt she have lots of time in her and started checking what else she could do for the company. She made a call on her intercom, "Andy, Call for a directors meeting in fifteen minutes."

After instructing she hung up the call. She started preparing for the meeting and took a printout. After fifteen minutes, She went to the conference room with Secretary and Assistant.

All directors were tensed about the sudden meeting because they didn't know the meeting agenda. They stood up and greeted Sky as she entered.

Sky gestured them to sit and she walked around as she spoke. "Sorry about the sudden call for the brainstorm meeting."

Directors assumed the company must have faced a problem for the brainstorm meeting and listened to her. "Thank you for all your hard work, Harley is doing good. This meeting is to find or identify any ideas which Harley can start a new venture."

Seeing no response voiced out, Sky continued. "If any of you feel anybody in your group help us in this meeting, You can call them now."

"Many took their phones out and called some to attend the meeting." Sky turned towards Andy, "Call vice-president to the meeting and get enough copies of this" Sky handed a paper to him.

Within five minutes, a fifteen-member meeting turned into thirty members meeting.

Sky signaled Andy to give the copy to everyone. "Directors already know the agenda of the meeting. Let me brief it for others. I'm thinking to start a new venture and looking for new ideas. Directors acknowledged your work and called you all to attend this meeting."

"You have received a paper that has some of the ideas listed. Now I will give you some time, You guys can discuss or come up with your ideas. Small or big, Everything is welcome."

Sky turned towards VP, "Mr.Sen, What do you say about this?"

The vice president is in his late forties. He initially worked under David and he was promoted to VP by him. Initially, everybody thought he would become the CEO but eventually, Sky took over.

"Sky, This is a wonderful idea. I have checked our current projects which are going good, So we shouldn't have much problem with starting a new venture."

"Thank you, Mr.Sen, for your support. Once we decide about the idea, I will talk about it in the Shareholder's meeting. You can go back to your office, If anything, I will contact you. If you have any new ideas, please let me know."

"Okay, Carry on" VP went off the meeting room with his assistant.
