(JASMIN)
I felt sleepy.
And hungry.
Cold sweats were all over my body and I felt bouts of dizziness again.
I went to the kitchen to get some foods and saw Dexter there. He's preparing some home-cooked afternoon snacks on the table.
"Eat all you want," he told me, "You look starved."
"Thanks. I'll call them all," I smiled at him.
Just as I was about to go, they swarmed at the kitchen area. I sat instead and took my plate. As we ate, they chattered in pairs…
Nadine and Amy…
Dexter and Dennise…
Ma and Lilibeth…
I felt isolated.
"Oh right. These past few days I wasn't able to contact you," Dexter turned his gaze at me.
Right.
My head ached at the sudden remembrance of a hurtful memory. It has gotten vaguer now though.
"Jasmin?"
Dennise stood up and approached me.
"I-I'm just giddy," I tried to refuse her assistance.
