Gu poison cannot actually be considered a poison art, but in World of Martial Arts, it was treated by many players and NPCs alike as a poison art that was incredibly profound. 

The goal for normal poison arts was to poison a person and make him or her die. 

But this sort of poison cannot break away from this law: all manner of things in the world countered each other in relation to the five elements.

Poison was also very dangerous to the user itself, but it was different for Gu poison. It placed a larger emphasis on the user's understanding and control over Gu poison. 

It can allow the user to easily manipulate his or her enemies and toy with them.
