[1] Pocket formation: The army lures the enemy into a narrow opening and guides them into the depths, but as the enemy pours inside, the space inside the formation will become larger. When all enemy forces enter, the army will seal off the exit, just like closing a pocket. (Sounds like the crane's wing formation, but the words are completely different, so I can't be too sure.)
