章節 8: The Most Popular Music Idol

------Back to the Present------

"Hitman Bang, we are-"

"You guys can't run around and talk to whomever like that! If I get fired, its gonna be your fault!" Hitman Bang said in a hushed voice. He didn't want to get fired because of some insolent brats that he didn't even know the names of.

"Sorry," RM apologized as a representative for the group. "We want to register for the audition. Let's fill the form out before leaving. We need to practice the song."

"Oh, I guess if you're sincere, I'll forgive you. Let's go eat something, it's not your fault you missed the audition date." Hitman Bang was enchanted by their sincere smiles and apologies.

Wait a second... "You guys still want to audition? Are you crazy? Who do you think you are, spending TWO hours for the audition song? Our songs are all crazy hard!" He was going crazy.

Namjoon blinked innocently, showing his dimples with a sly smile.

Hitman Bang stared at each of them intensely. "Fine, but if you don't pass, all of you will get a job and pay me all the money I'm gonna miss from getting fired from JinHit."

Jungkook spoke, full of confidence. "Don't worry, a company that is named after our worldwide handsome won't let us fail."

Huh? Hitman Bang was confused but didn't dwell too much on it. Together, the eight filled out the audition form.

Then, the boys hurried off with a messenger robot to find their practice room.

After they left, a person made his way to Hitman Bang. "Now you want to try making idol groups? Don't tell me you forgot how you failed 20 years ago." His voice was sardonic.

When Hitman Bang looked up and saw who it was, he gritted his teeth and smiled that same fawning smile he had always shown. Park Dongwoon.

"What, cat got your tongue? Well, I guess you've always been a timid, docile person." The man smirked. He was a tall man with both good looks and charisma, a complete opposite to Hitman Bang. He wore a custom made outfit, complete with sunglasses. All of the people stopped to watch.

He continued, "I guess your brain has really backfired, you actually came to audition without being prepared for the song. And you are a manager! No wonder all of your idols left you. From a producer to an exiled manager. And did you see Mr. Lee's look? I bet you're gonna get fired before the day ends. Even if you don't get fired by him, all I have to do is talk with my manager about this and he also has that authority."

Satisfied, the man waved to the silenced audience and left. Park Dongwoon was a smart person. He knew that by saying these words would incite disdain towards his ex-manager and fear towards himself from whomever the next idol group will be.

Hitman Bang, on the other hand, was red with embarrassment and anger. He almost couldn't control his mouth from talking back.

-------

"Wow! This dance is really kinda tough! The lyrics are kinda bland but hard to sing.." Jungkook huffed. It looked pretty ordinary on screen, but for him who hadn't exercised in... let's just say quite a while, was really a heck of a workout. For those like Jimin, this really was ordinary. Compared to "Idol", this was much less work.

It's been an hour, and while BTS couldn't perfect the dance nor completely master the steps, it was taking some sort of shape. Jungkook, who had been lagging behind at first, was getting into his own rhythm.

The rap was very fast. It seemed like this world had higher expectations for trainees. RM thought it was gonna be a piece of cake and offered to take the hardest part. However, when they heard the rap parts, his complexion had paled considerably. He could do 9.25 SPS and this rap part was already 9.2! When Yoongi smirked and offered to take it, but RM was stubborn.

The vocals weren't too high, but the tempo was upbeat and fast and it was easy to get out of breath. Jungkook took the main vocals this time because Jimin, who had been in a sour mood all day, had trouble singing in a happy tone, and his face really made one feel depressed.

I don't know how audition forms go... sorry... and I'm really too lazy to search it up. I'm sorry, I know that it's kinda rude...

The professional training is none because BTS is farsighted and afraid they will be so cool that people will search for a background check and find nothing on their training services. I mean, it just means that they train unprofessionally.
