When Amy entered the room, she saw how immersed Alice was in her work. So, she had bought two cups of frozen yogurt. She walked up to her slowly & calmly & held out her hand over her head, "Here."
Alice looked up & a smile spread across her face, "Thanks, I am almost done."
"Good", Amy patted her shoulder & sat down on the chair beside her.
"You know", Alice began to speak & her eyes became sad, "I want to fulfill my Dad's every possible dream he had for me."
Amy replied, "What happened?"
"Can I request you a thing?" Alice asked suddenly.
"Sure. Go ahead", Amy nodded.
"Amy, the Blue Phoenix Awards are approaching, right? I have been nominated for two awards. I am not anticipating the Best Playback, but I have high hopes for The Promising Comeback. If I get that, I will release another song I have in stock & then I will retreat from the public eye for a while."
"Huh?" Amy was confused & surprised at the same time.
"Amy", Alice spoke wheezily, "My Dad wanted me to get a degree from Música Amor University. It was an inner desire that he solely craved for."
"Your idea is not bad", Amy smiled, "I will talk with the Vice-President tomorrow."
"Thank you", Alice spoke out in a whisper. Then, she diverted her attention back to the computer screen. A few moments later, she spoke with excitement, "Here, it is done."
Amy closed in, & leaned by putting a hand on the leather chair. Her eyes widened with surprise, "Unimaginable. I guess, he spent the amount of money on one keyboard warrior, it's what I earn in an entire year or maybe six months."
"He had spent his entire fortune on this", Alice could not help but snort.
"Shall I call Riley then?"
"Of course! I can't wait for the ultimate face slaps to begin."
Amy didn't waste any time as she was waiting for the same thing. Enough is enough! She wanted to get to the bottom of this.
Very soon, Riley walked into the room, wearing a white pantsuit, looking refined. He brought along a visual content creator. He spoke in a cold & detached voice, "This is Rajesh. He will help you with the way the evidence will be posted."
Alice scrutinized the man in front of her. The man called Rajesh had messy brown hair, sun-tanned skin, flat nose & stiff lips. He was wearing a white, rather loose, colorful shirt & a pair of rugged jeans. His features were not exquisite, but the one that allowed to merge into the crowd. She spoke in an emotionless voice, "You have one hour. Can you do it?"
"Yes", came the man's voice.
"Do it", Alice got up from the seat to give the man his place of work. She moved closer to Riley, "Can we trust him?"
"Yeah", Riley nodded in his usual manner. Alice sighed with relief.
As said, within an hour, the work was done. Alice smirked & fires of hell burning in her eyes.
