Lilac's POV

These days I've been feeling very uncomfortable but I don't know why. It's just that these feelings are taking away my sleep. My sleep deprived state had been making people very uncomfortable with me. Even when my friends tried to make small talk with me, I just tend to ignore them most of the time or glare at them. When I tried to explain my situation to them, they don't want to listen to my explanation so I couldn't do anything about it. But I couldn't be bothered by it because at the end of the day they will still have to talk to me so that I could help them out for their assignment. This is one of the reasons why I hated people like them. I only help them for the sake of finishing up my assignments and do well in my semester so that I could move forward faster. I'm not willing to repeat the same subject for another semester. Although on the front page of every assignment, there will be 4 names but all the hard work is mine. I bet the teacher did realize it. Well it's all because I always scored well in the examination and they would need to repeat it. Of course it wasn't hard for the teacher to guess who actually does the work.

Hi Lilac. How are you? I wasn't been able to contact you these few days because I was busy finishing up my work in the studio. This is a normal thing for me to disappear for a few days before reappearing back. I know it's a bad habit but I'll try to change it. You're up for a video call?

To: Yoon Gi

Oh no wonder. I was wondering why you didn't reply me. Turns out you were busy.

-Yoon Gi calling-

"Hello Yoon Gi. How are you?" I said.

"Hi Lilac. I'm very well. I miss you." Yoon Gi said and I could feel my face heating up.

"Ummm…. I miss you too." I said.

"Is that you blushing Lilac. Haha… Never would have thought that you could blush. Where are you now? There's so many people around you. Aren't you worried that people might know our relationship?" Yoon Gi said.

"Aren't you supposed to be worried about yourself instead. You're the celebrity not me." I said jokingly.

"Well I'm just worried that you will be attack by those crazy fans. I don't wish to see you get hurt just because of me. It hurts me if I see you hurt." Yoon Gi said. I was shocked that he would take my words seriously.

"Yoon Gi I was joking. I know how to protect myself so don't worry about it. These people around me are not even bothered with what I'm actually doing. They know that they would get into trouble if they offend me." I said.

"That's great that people in the university wouldn't hurt you but what about the people outside. It's not that I'm scared to exposed my relationship with you to the public. I just font want you to be hurt by every word that they said or their actions. This is the price you have to pay for dating a celebrity like me. I hope that no matter what you go through, you would talk to me about it and not keep it to yourself. Let me share your burden. I don't want you to face the problem yourself. I know that you find it hard to trust people after what your family had done to you but I will try my best to protect you. I want you to try to trust me." Yoon Gi said.

His words really touched the deepest scar in my heart. Never once in my life someone say this kind of words to me. It makes me want to cry. But I couldn't show my vulnerable self in front of others.

"Yoon Gi-ah can we continue tonight?" I asked.

"Sure. I will call you tonight." Yoon Gi said.

"Bye. Talk to you later." I said.

"Bye. Love you." Yoon Gi said.

After hanging up on the call, I quickly pack my things and went out of the library. Luckily when I reach the bus stop, I manage to catch the first bus back to my apartment.
