章節 80: His story
"So what's up?" Lilac asked.
"Well I saw my childhood friend just now but she doesn't seem to recognize me now." I replied.
"So what you're gonna do about it?" Lilac asked.
"I wanted to greet her but I know that it wasn't the best time to do that since there were a lot of people around. I don't know what would she think if I suddenly said hi to her out of nowhere. I'm worried that she wouldn't say that she knows me. What do you think I should do?" I said.
"Wow that's really suprising to know about this from you. Never thought you have a girl that you like." Lilac said.
"How do you know I like her? I didn't say anything about liking her at all." I said in a panic voice.
"There you go. You've just said it." Lilac said.
"Fine, fine you got me." I said.
"Haha… So about the relationship between you guys?" Lilac said.
"Well we used to be neighbours when we were younger and she knows that I like her. But I don't know how she felt towards me." I said.
"We can't assume how she felt towards you." Lilac said.
"I know but I've lost contact with her and I don't know how to meet her again." I said.
"Can you at least give me her name?" Lilac said.
"Her name is Hanuel." I said.
"Hmm. I met a girl with the same name just now but I don't know are we talking about the same person or not. I met her near the Han river just now." Lilac said.
When she said those words, I was overwhelmed because I do think that we are talking about the same person.
"By looking at the excited face of yours, I think we are talking about the same person. I don't know her directly but I know her sister." Lilac said.
"Nevermind as long as you have a way to contact her. I'm contented enough already." I said.
"Ok. I'll try to get her contacts from her sister." Lilac said.
"Thank you so much." I said.
Only then I noticed that there's a packet of medicine on the side table.
"Are you sick?" I asked.
"I don't know actually. I have been sneezing non stop." Lilac replied.
"I think it's because you're lacking of sleep. Did you sleep late these few days?" I said.
"Yeah. I need to stay up to finish up some assignments and also do some research about one of the subject's project for the next semester." Lilac said.
"Oh. You're so hardworking Lilac. Most people would only start doing research during next semester but you have already started." I complimented her.
"Well you know how hard I've worked so that I could be here right. So I can't waste this one and only chance." Lilac said.
Before I could say anything, a sharp ringtone rang through the room. Lilac walk towards her room to get her phone.
"Hello who's this?" Lilac said.
"No I don't know who you are. And don't call me again." She continued and hanged up the call.

I finally have the chance to post the story. I was having a lantern festival celebration in school yesterday and I ended up having supper with my friends. There will be another chappy for you guys tmr. Thank you for reading.
