章節 47: Lilac's Kindness

Hazel's POV

When I saw how Lilac mocked those girls make me think back of how kind and gentle she was once. After what she had been through, she had become very different from the her before but no matter what she is still my best friend. She had always been the first one to lend a helping hand to me whenever I need someone by my side. Meeting her again in Korea makes me felt so happy as I have always dreamt of going to the same university as her. Who knows that my dream would come true. After that incident, she had never cared about how people think about her anymore and she starts to say no to other people. Before this she had been a people pleaser and it was so hard for her to say no. She had always try her best to help others that at times she forget about herself.

I was heartbroken when I see her like that. So many time I told her to say no but she just couldn't. When she joined the student council, I was very proud of her because I know that she's capable of leading people. Her ability of leading is in her naturally but she had never been able to show it. Luckily our class teacher recommended her name to be a part of the student council. At first, I joined in the student council along with her but I couldn't stand with the pressure so I left. I felt that I couldn't cope with my studies and the seniors are very harsh towards all of us.

When I left, I know that Lilac was not really happy about it but she understands my situation so she didn't question my decision. I felt really bad for leaving her just like that as the members of student council of my badge is horrible. They simply look down on people just because they think that they are the best among everyone else. I really hated them to the core. Lilac could cope with all this because she looks very strong and confident from the outside. But I know that she a very soft-hearted person.

Looking back into the past, I'm really curious of how did I get so close to Lilac. Maybe it's because we have the same interest or maybe it's because we were bonded together by fate. But I'm really glad that I was able to meet a good friend like. If it's not because of her I don't even know if I'm still around until now. When I felt so heartbroken about my boyfriend breaking up with me, my mom's death and my dad's betrayal towards my mom. I couldn't handle those problems well that time. I felt like my whole world was crumbling down. But luckily Lilac was there to give me advices and help me up again at that moment. That was when I realized how many people around me actually cares about me. I realized that after I distanced myself from so many people at that time only Lilac stayed with me at that time.

"Lilac let's go to class." I said to her.

"Hmm let's go." Lilac replied.

"By the way that was so cool just now. Those bitches have been thinking that they are so great and no one dares to go against them because they can make the whole school hates you. Now with you standing up against them I think sooner or later you will have your own fans and admirers coming after you." I said jokingly.

"I don't need those people. I don't care about what those bitches gonna do to me because I'm not at fault in the first place. Jung Kook is not theirs anyway." Lilac said confidently.

"How do you know that Jung Kook doesn't know about them?" I asked.

"Weren't they saying that I was eating with Jung Kook. To say the truth I had already met Jung Kook and the rest of the members 2 years back. At that time, I didn't manage to tell you because you were still grieving over your mother's death so I gave you some personal space. After that, they left so I slowly forgot about it." Lilac said.

"Oh I see. No wonder he even cooks for you." I said.

"All the girls are now hating me just because I'm close to him." Lilac said.

"Are you guys dating or what?" I asked.

"No we are not dating just friends." Lilac said.

"Oh look at the time we are almost late for class. Hurry up Lilac." I said while walking faster.
