章節 36: Forgiveness

Nam Joon's POV

I knew that it would be awkward for Jung Kook and Lilac if Jin hyung and I tag along. Now it's true.

This hyung doesn't want to believe me and now he acts indifferent.

"Hyung all your fault." I said.

"What? I just miss her okay." Jin hyung said.

"You do know that she is still in the process of accepting us back right. We shouldn't have forced ourselves on her." I said.

"I know but I just couldn't help it." Jin hyung reply.

"Haihh what do you think Lilac thinks of us now?" I asked.

"I don't know. I can't read her mind anyway. Until today I don't understand why I can't read her mind." Jin hyung replied.

"None of us can anyway." I said.

"True also." Jin hyung said.

*NamJin moments*

"Hyung are you guys okay? You have been staring at each other for the past 5 minutes." Jung Kook said.

"Ahh we're find. Just playing some staring game." Jin hyung said.

Lucky enough that he could tackle Jung Kook's question. Although sometimes Jin hyung doesn't act like someone his age but most of the time he acts like a good hyung. I'm actually glad to have this kind of hyung.

"Lilac how have you been?" I asked.

"I'm fine. How have you guys been doing? I thought you guys are having a comeback soon. How come you guys have free time?" Lilac asked.

"Yeah we have finish producing the songs and practicing the dance step already so the company gave us a day rest. They don't want us to over exert ourselves." I replied.

"Oh I see." Lilac said.

Just like that our conversation came to a dead end again. I really met the end of the road to think of a topic to talk to her about. It's just two years being apart from each other really torn our relationship. It feels like we're just strangers meeting each other again. It just felt so depressing to me. I know that it's almost impossible for a friend who we haven't met for 2 years able to talk to us like we have never been apart before. Moreover, we left in a hurry. No proper goodbye.

20 minutes later,

We finally reached the dorm. I almost died of suffocation of the air of awkwardness. It would be so funny if outsiders heard about my cause of death. I walked into the dorm to change into comfortable clothes while Jung Kook led Lilac to the living room. Luckily all the members are around. After 5 minutes, everyone scattered around in the living room while looking at Lilac. After everyone settle down in the living room, we stare at each other feeling the awkwardness in the air again until Jin hyung clear his throat.

"So Lilac two years back I know that it's our fault but we have no choice. Our manager hyung came and told us that someone send a letter to the company threatening our safety. Therefore we left in a hurry. As we know that Joaane and you were having examination at that time so we decided to not disturb the both of you. And the worst thing was my phone got stolen 6 months after we came back. That was the reason why I have lost all your contacts. Most of our phones that have your contact number and Joaane's contact number were all stolen. We don't know whether it was planned out or not but until now we couldn't catch the culprit. I know that until now you're still angry with us but we're sorry. There's nothing else that I could say other than sorry. Please do forgive us." Jin hyung explained.

"To say the truth I don't deserve your sorry because I'm also at fault at some point since I've changed all my contacts number with no reason. Just because of my anger, I've caused our relationship to strained. I'm also at fault. So, I'm sorry as well." Lilac said.

"As long as you're not angry with us anymore then it's fine." Jimin said with excitement.

"After listening to what Jin oppa said, I realize that it had also been my fault. So of course I'm not angry with you guys." Lilac said.
