I HAVE TO ADMIT. She is not pretty but there's something in her that made me want to talk to her more. Kung hindi lang dumating 'yung kaibigan ko, malamang na magkasama pa kami. Nakakatuwa kasi siya. Hindi mo alam kung galit o ano. 'Yung cheeks niya na medyo chubby, namumula tapos 'yung mga mata niya nangingislap, nangungusap. Medyo may pimples din siya pero bagay naman sa mukha niya. Hindi siya ang ideal girl ko pero ibang klase siya. Ang tapang-tapang niya at pinaglalaban ang karapatan niya. Para siyang si Empress Ki, maganda siya at matapang. Para tuloy akong si Emperador Togon.
Parang . . . parang . . .naku,hindi pala pwede.
Hindi pa handa ang puso kong magmahal. Hindi ko siya pwedeng mahalin.
I lied to Maggie. It's not true that I have to run away from home because they want me to marry some random Korean girl. The truth is, I had to leave because I am running away from my brokenness.
Her name is Minhee. We were together for almost four years. She was my first love and so am I. Pero something happened along the way and she turned down my proposal. It was painful. The pain was killing me everyday. Araw-araw, I would drown myself in alcohol thinking that doing so would ease the pain.I was surfing the net when I learned more about the Philippines. My brother was planning on starting his business here but changed his mind. The situation here is not safe. There's war and the economy is not good. But then, I was attracted to the pictures of the different beaches in the Philippines. I am a triathlete so I thought of why not give it a try. Mukhang mag-e-enjoy ako sa Pilipinas. Isa pa, I have a close Filipino friend who is like a brother to me. At malay mo, dito ko na rin makita ang the one. Well, I am hoping.
Good thing I did. Dahil, dahil nakilala ko si Maggie.
Well. Erase that, good thing I did because I will be able to help Maggie fulfil her dreams.
I don't believe in love at first sight but with Maggie, parang may ginawa siya dito sa puso ko. Excited na tuloy akong magkita kami bukas. Ano kayang mangyayari? This is not love. I know. But I am enjoying this feeling, the feeling of excitement and curiosity at the same time. Malay mo siya na ang the one. Alam ko medyo maaga pa para sabihin ko 'yun pero wala namang masama siguro kung bibigyan ko ang puso ko ng pagkakataong magmahal muli.
