章節 3: 3rd Chapter

I fold up the photo and stuff it into my shorts pocket. I walk down the hallway and into the open kitchen area. The fridge and oven are still okay but not working. Looking into the fridge I find that it has been looted. I turn around and start opening cupboards and doors closest to me, only finding a small jar of olives, a box of crackers and one bottle of water. I take all of it and put in my backpack. Across the room our HTD (Hologram Technologies Device) has been taken. We used to watch tons of different shows on there in 4D. Someone must of needed it for news watching after global warming. I walk through the living room and down the next hallway. I turn left and find myself in my parents office. At Dad's desk, I start typing a couple of pin numbers into the security pad. I then try 2-0-7-7. I hear a small ding, the draw slides open. Dad has always spoiled me the most, that's probably why he used my birthday. I scuffle through the draws. I find my birth certificate, receipts and a old card from our neighbours. I move over to mums desk and try the same code again. It didn't work. I then try my sisters birthday. Didn't work either. I then type in my brothers birthday and it works. Guess I know who's the favourite now. I hear a similar ding and the draw opens. As I shuffle things around in the desk, I spot an envelope addressed to my parents. As I open the letter a receipt falls out. The letter reads,
