Mandy was a lot better at boogie boarding than Emily was. She kept ending up flipping her board under the waves and coming up gasping for air. Eventually, that got tiring so she rode the next wave back to shore and gave the boogie board to Dominic, who took it eagerly.

Soaked and weary, she joined Justin and Alexa as they relaxed in beach chairs with tropical drinks in hand. "Where can I get one of those?"

Alexa pointed to the shanty functioning as a bar towards the back of the beach but Justin got up. "I needed a refill anyway. What do you want?"

"I'll have whatever you're having. My brain is too full of saltwater to think. Thanks, Justin," she said as she eased herself into a chair with a sigh.

After he left Alexa looked over at her with a dopey grin on her face. "He spoils you rotten."

"Yeah, he does," Emily said happily. After all this time she still wasn't entirely used to the royal treatment.
