章節 1: Black
All I could see was black. The silence was frightening, too frightening to disturb. My memory was fuzzy and foggy.
Unexpectedly, a room materialised around me, there was not much in the room besides a desk in the centre, it had a line down the middle. There was a plant pot on each side of the line, within them were Japanese Cherry Trees. One of which was dead and had no blossoms, the other was healthy, if anything it was too healthy. It was smothered in blossoms.
Some writing on the wall behind the desk revealed itself with an instruction to please take a seat, someone will be with you shortly.
I walked lethargically to the seat, soon after two men teleported into the room next to their chairs and sat down. One of them was wearing a sinister looking red kimono, the other was wearing a pearl white kimono and looked rather pleasant. They got comfortable and one spoke.
"I will get us started by telling you about the tragedy that has become of you... You are dead," declared the man in the white kimono.
I looked blankly at him and blinked rapidly.
"So I am dead?" I asked
"Yes" the man answered
"Dead?"
"Yes"
"D-E-A-D"
"Yes"
"OK"
"I am god and this is the devil" said god in the white kimono
"We would normally send disciples in our stead. But you are different from the others, for you are too bad for heaven but too good for hell."
Some memories came back to me of when I was a kid. My family abused me and starved me and I could not see any good in my life just an ever growing hatred for humans.
"We have decided to send you to a new world where you have to do something virtuous or something sinister which will send you to heaven or hell. But there are terms and conditions." He paused to see my reaction to his latest comment.
I nodded to let him continue.
"The first term and condition is that you have to take one each of our disciples to the new world. Next, you will be given magic, both dark and light. Lastly, to repeat what I said earlier you MUST do something sinister or virtuous. So will you commit to this offer?"
"Yes"
I said
"Good. You wouldn't like the other option! We will be off and our disciples will be with you shortly."
They disappeared.
The chair I was sitting on changed into a sofa, the other chairs did the same and the desk turned into a coffee table. There was a short delay before they appeared next to the sofa and sat down. The one on the left was red and the one on the right was white. The one on the left introduced himself first.
"My name is Yama and I am a Demon."
"Greetings. My name is Paschar and I am here to serve you" said the white one.
"And my name is Lucas." I said.
"We will now give you our powers" they said in chorus.
And after that I went blank.
