章節 5: Here comes trouble!
After he got off the train, he started to ask where he can find an item shop in Oshibana. Some people say the item shop was in the northern part, some are telling him in the west, and few in the south.
Asking people for directions is a little bit confusing sometimes, for other people as they get to lose their way. Fortunately, Kai was good at reading time as well as directions by using the sun's movement to tell him which direction is which. He can also tell direction at night, which is a secret for now.
He started going north as it was near the train station. Asking directions from different and few people who might know where is the item shop.
He found the item shop, but it wasn't the one.
"Next... To the west."
Then he traveled all the way to the west, aking people again to find the right place.
Just right when he reached the shop, someone yelled "Thief" and he saw a man running and came from the shop, following the man who's screaming "Thief".
He followed the thief and the man, running really fast and steady as he quickly kept up with the speed.
The thief was surprised to see a kid was keeping up with his speed. What surprised him more was, he was tripped by the kid.
"Okay, I think that settles it." he searched the man for things that can be stolen, he saw some expensive accessories and gave them back to the owner. "Here, sir. These are your accessories," he said with a smile.
"Kid! How can you run so fast?! Are you really a kid?!" asked the man.
"I'm a Ninja!" he replied to the first question, "And I am just a kid."
"Then, how did you run so fast?" another question asked.
"Now, that's a secret that people already knew," he answered that seemed to be a vague answer to the man.
"Kid, who are you anyway?" the man asked.
"Who are you anyway?" answer a question with another question, classic 😎. Before the man could answer, "Are you the one who requested at the clover town?" he asked.
"First things first, let's go to my shop."
They arrived at the man's shop.
"My name is Billy Bean, I am the owner of this shop just yesterday." he paused and looked at Kai and continued, "I also did not order anything for my shop."
"My name is Kai Uchiha. If you're not the one, then who ordered?" he fell on his thoughts for a few minutes, then he said, "I guess I need to go south then?"
"I'll help you, kid. I'll drive directly to those shop you're looking for," he said while drinking a cup of water.
Kai accepted and now they were on a vehicle that runs through the use of mana of magic.
"You know, this thing was bought by my father, who was previously the owner, even though he wasn't even able to use magic."
"What is your magic then?" Kai asked.
"My magic was Nature magic, I did not try to learn or master it, only healing."
The two never talked anymore after that. Is it because they have reached the shop in the south? Right!
"Alright, no need for you to drive me now because this is the last shop." he smiled at Billy who returned a smile. Billy, who looks like at least 20.
"Okay, I hope this is the place you've been looking for." and then he leaves with his car (forgot to mention that it is a car).
And again, however, Kai asked the item shop owner or shopkeeper but never got her attention. Then, a man stepped forward skipping through him like he has urgent business with the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper is fairly beautiful yet cute at the same time, brown and braided hair. When the man stepped in front of her, but instead of a smile like she shows to her other customers, she was rather grumpy or annoyed.
"What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" she said whilst her back facing him.
"Oy, that's rude you know!" the man said and a smile can be seen in his face and continued, "Look at me, no girl will resist my beautiful face and my money!"
"Well, step back mister because I'm first before you." no one said that other than Kai.
"What do you want, kid? Do you want some toys? I can give you that." the man answered.
"You might be handsome and rich, but no one needs your money when you're the one taking advantage. And no, I don't want any toys and I AM here to do my job." he said, walking forward and pushed the man aside and said, "Can you please know your place, mister?"
The man was speechless and screamed in his thoughts, "Why in the world am I being taught by a kid?"
Furious, the man grabbed Kai's jacket and pull him and said, "You know, kid. There are some things that a child like you shouldn't be in adults businesses."
"Put that kid down!" the shopkeeper said to the man.
After hearing what she said, he made a deal, "I'll put the kid down IF you will marry me."
Hearing this deal, she turned silent and not a single word can be heard.
The man opened his coat, showing that he has a gun and pulled it out and pointed it at the head of Kai. "You have two choices; one, marry me and live happily ever after or two, this kid will die and you will never have a chance to get what you want for your daughter."
She was shivering because she doesn't want the kid to die and she doesn't want to marry him either.
"Pull the trigger..."
"What?" exclaimed the woman and, "Kid, you really want to die, do you?"
Kai provokes the man more by saying, "I dare you to pull the trigger."
"Okay if that's what you want," he said with a grin.
"NOOO!" but before she could stop it.
BANG
And after the banging sound of a gun, a log falls down from the spot where the Kai was.
"Is that all? You're not perfect because you can't use magic."
