章節 142: Bully People Are The Worst Type Of People
"C'mon miss we've been watching you since you came in. With your looks there's no way you can afford any product in here". The sales lady looked at her from head to toe and she can tell she's not wearing any branded products.
"Is that your basis of knowing who's rich and who's poor.... by their looks?". She can't believed a mere sales lady just look down at her. She wants to laugh.
Another woman came but she dressed differently. Maybe she is her superior, she thought. And like the first one she looked at Azalea from head to toe.
"What's going on here?". The woman asked her subordinate.
"I think your employee forgot her manners?". Azalea told her opinion straight to her but she seems to be ignored by the woman.
"This woman won't leave the store". The sales lady told her superior when she looks at her. She was even grinning at Azalea knowing her own superior brush her off.
"I think you should leave ma'am". The woman have a hint of arrogance in her voice. She even crossed her arms to her chest and tried to intimidate her.
"Okay I will". Azalea feels tired of walking around and she feels she have no energy to argue with anyone. "I'll have to talk to my husband first". She was about to walk to Jack's location when the woman grabbed her arm. She was surprised by her actions.
"Please don't try to disturb our Boss and his wife can't you see they are having a nice conversation". The woman grabs Azalea's arms to stopped her and pulled her with all her strength and tried to drag her out of their store.
"What are you doing and what are you saying?....That's not his wife!". She was surprised when she heard the woman assessed that the woman talking to her husband is his wife. She is starting to get pissed. That's her husband they are talking about.
"Please miss try to cooperate if you won't we will be force to call a security to throw you outside of this mall". The sales lady helped her superior to apprehend her and drag her out.
Azalea keeps on pulling herself out of their grip but her arms are hurting. Their grip is very forceful and tight she feels her arms is getting ripped. She calm herself down and didn't fight back anymore. She just let the two woman hold and drag her like she steal something and she can see that they already caught the other people's attention. There's already a mumbling sound saying she's a thief or a poor woman who tried to buy something she can't afford. The two woman holds her in both hands and drag her out of the store. They almost pass Jack's location when they heard a loud voice shouting at them.
"What the hell are you doing to my wife!!!". Jack shouted with full force and anger that made all of his bodyguards comes inside the store.
Everyone was stunned with his loud voice and almost screamed when his bodyguards appeared out of nowhere. The other bodyguards ushered the customers in the corner and the rest holds a gun pointing at the two woman who are still holding Azalea's arms.
"Let go of my wife!". Jack pushed the women so hard both of them ends up on the floor screaming. "Are you trying to abduct my wife?..... Cease them!". He was very furious at the two woman, he is giving them a cold and deadly stare. He holds Azalea in his arms like the most precious thing in the world and tries to protect her with his own body.
"We're very very sorry sir, we didn't know.... We thought she is your wife". The sales lady pointed at the woman behind Jack and she saw her shakes her head.
"We're very sorry Madam we didn't know who you are". The other woman almost kiss the floor asking for her forgiveness.
Jack holds his wife's arms and saw marks on it that was created by force. She have bruises already. He knows how sensitive her skin are and he didn't like when he sees any marks on any part of her body. Specially when it looks like it's hurting her.
The women saw Azalea's arms and their face went pale. They didn't know she have a very sensitive skin. She was fidgeting when they were holding her and in her every movement their grip becomes tighter and tighter and now it turned into bruises and it's almost turning blue and violet already. When they looked at their Boss he looks like he will going to kill them. They beg harder this time.
The manager of the store came running and apologized to them too. She can't believed that her subordinates just made the biggest mistake of their lives and now they all need to pay the consequences of their actions.
"Sir we're very sorry for not training them properly. We will fire them at once". The store manager is not looking at Jack's face. She lowered her head, she was very embarrassed by the situation.
"No..... Put them behind bars for assault and injury. I want them to suffer the consequences of their ignorance". Jack is hiding his wife in between his arms and he can feel she's uneasy.
The two woman are still crying their hearts out. They keep apologizing although they know it's too late and they can't bring back time. One of the woman tried to crawl in Azalea's feet but one of the guards stops her.
"Please Madam have mercy on us". Her make-up is coming out with her tears, she looks horrible and she can hear some people laughing low at her.
Azalea tried to free herself from her husband's tight embrace. She wants to look at the the two woman begging her but Jack won't let her. He even turned his back on them and his bodyguards took those women away. That was the time he let her free.
"Where are they?".
"Gone!". Jack is in his grim face, he is really furious.
"Are you really going to to press charges against them?". She felt pity for them and it registered to her face. "It's just a misunderstanding".
"My love, listen to me... You cannot always tolerate those kind of acts by other people if they can do that to you, they can do that to anyone. And if those people that they mistreat have no other backing, what will you think might happen to them, they will be humiliated and will think low of themselves. Sometimes we need to be harsh to teach other people a life lesson to never look down to anyone. Bully people are the worst type of people and I don't like to tolerate them specially in my establishment". Jack is looking seriously at his wife's eyes. He was like lecturing a child with his gentle words. He knows how soft his wife's heart to lower people and he don't want other people to take advantage of her.
Azalea just nod at him. She understands what he meant. She was once bullied back in her school days and Carlton was his only saviour but other kids hurt him too. That's why she learned how to defend herself and the people she cared about and since then people in the school feared her and she almost ends up alone again. For her being too weak and being too powerful ends up in one destination, alone.
"I love you and I will never leave you". She was caught up with her nostalgia that she told him what's inside her heart. And she saw him calms down.
Jack didn't understand her words to him but he loves when she speaks from her heart, it always overwhelming for him. He gave her a hug and asked the manager to close down for the day. He wants the whole store only for them. He don't want anymore misunderstanding and he don't want his wife to get into anymore trouble again.

章節 143: Mr. Greedy
"I already prepared the Shin Grand Hall for your engagement party tomorrow night". Romina informed her son about the plan she made. It's been a week already since her son asked her to help him to plan a wedding for his beloved wife and soon her only favorite daughter-in-law.
"Why do I need another engagement party if were already married?". Jack was confused. He thought about the wedding but not the engagement.
"We need to introduce her properly to the public. Besides every woman needs to be handed by their father to their future groom..... Well that's the Shin tradition anyway but I want to apply it to her". She is very strict to the so called tradition of their family. Azalea will be a part of their family that's why she needs to practice it early.
Jack thought about it for a while and he thinks his mother is right. He didn't ask for Azalea's hands from her father in a proper way. He needs to do it right. He needs to be a gentleman and ask for Charles Son's blessing, his father-in-law.
"Okay, if you think that's necessary. Do whatever you want Mom. As long as we can have a nice wedding. That's all it matters". Jack sigh. He don't want to argue with his mother because he knows she's right and she's doing the best she can plus the fact that she's overly excited.
"I know you will say that". Her voice sounds a bit exaggerated and confident. "About your suit and Azalea's dress. It's already prepared".
"Thank you, Mom..... So that means we are the only ones needed in your plan?". He is grinning. His mother really knows what to do it's like she already planned everything before he even ask.
"Yes". She simply replied.
After he hung up. Azalea came back from the bathroom. She took a hot bath and left her husband in their room when his mother called.
"How is she?". She was curious about their discussion it took longer than before but she don't want to intrude.
"She's fine and excited". Jack took his wife's hands and pull her near him. She was standing in front of him. He hugs her waist and looked up at her face.
"Excited.... Of what?". She became more curious by her husband's words and it registered on her face.
Jack chuckles when he saw a questionable look in her eyes. But he wants to keep it a surprise.
"I'll tell you tomorrow". He is planting kisses on her hands and arms. "Tonight let's talk privately". He grabs her nape and lowered her head to him. He grants her a very passionate kiss.
Morning.
The couple were surprised when they see Romina early in the morning in their living room.
"Good morning ma'am". Azalea was the first one to greet her.
"Why are you calling me ma'am?.... I'm your mother-in-law". Romina is not surprised when Azalea is still not calling her mother she hasn't giving her a proper blessing yet. "Can you call me mother from now on?".
"Really!". Azalea was very excited when she heard her. She never had a mother for a long time. "Mother". She giggles and hugs her. She can't contain her eagerness to hold her new mother.
Romina was very delighted with her attitude. She knew how innocent she is and she loves the fact that she can easily be please.
"What do you want". Jack lazily asked his mother and grabs Azalea away from her. He saw his wife looked at him wondering.
Romina chuckles. She never expected how possessive her son is, but she decided not to confront him. "I need the both of you in the hotel this afternoon".
"But why... Mother?". Azalea almost forgot how to address her. She still feels shy calling her mother.
"Oh silly girl.... You almost forgot how to address me, come here!". She taps the side of her seat and Azalea quickly sits beside her. "Do you want to practice the word mother to me?". She patted her head. She always wanted to have a daughter before but never happened. She have some nieces but all of them was afraid of her.
Jack grabs Azalea back to his side. He don't want his mother to be more fond of her because he knows she will drag his wife everywhere with her when they become close.
"We will be there. You can count on us". He is giving Romina a cold gaze but he only saw her shrug her shoulders.
"You are so greedy. I won't snatched her from you..... I'm just going to borrow her from time to time". Romina tries to piss her own son. She can see he is knitting his eyebrows and she wants to laugh from his reaction.
"My wife is not a toy that you can borrow anytime you want". He gave his wife a warning look. He knows she will react differently from his words and he don't want to give her mother any hint of chance to take her away from him.
"Okay Mr. Greedy..... I won't take her but you still need to go to the Shin Hotel this afternoon for your final fitting". Romina rolled her eyes. The sweetness of the two is killing her. She can't really win against her own son.
"Why do we need to go to Shin Hotel?". Azalea asked them out of curiosity. She don't understand what they were talking about and why do they need to go there.
"You didn't tell her!". Romina was surprised and her eyes focused on his son. She can't believed he haven't told her yet. Her new daughter have no idea what's going to happen tonight.
"I forgot..... But I will tell her after you leave". He looked at his wondering wife. "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you after our private talked". His eyes are very apologetic to her.
"You already had a private talked but you forgot to tell her". Romina speaks with sarcasm on her tone and she is giving him a sharp look.
Azalea laughed in an instant then covered her mouth. She was thinking about the other private talk that Romina is referring to but then she saw her mother-in-law giving her a silly grin. She thinks she already know.
"Oh well, I think I shouldn't meddle with you little lovers... Just drop by at the hotel as early as possible so we can start everything early. I don't want a chaotic scene". She rose up from the grand couch and gave both of them a peck on their cheeks. Romina patted Azalea's head like a child. She can't understand why she likes her so much. But she thought maybe it's because she's the reason why her son is talking to her again after so many years. She is also the reason why Jack is very happy even if he don't let anyone see it she can tell because she is his mother.
