Lyn was good at sensing people's emotions; that's why she understood that this topic made Reiji uncomfortable. Lyn quickly changed the subject.

"You must have heard from the King, right? I am still new to all of this. Yet all that stuff happened to me when I was a kid," Lyn started. Reiji nodded. " My parents did it to protect me. I suppose I suppose they didn't want to drag me into a world filled with bloodshed. When I first found out about the truth of the world many years ago, I was shocked - surprised. I didn't want to hear it. I wanted to escape from it all; I didn't want to know anything. I continued to reject it."

Reiji nodded, "That's only normal."
