After the minor incident, the three of them left for downtown. It was the fifth of June and the academy was in an uproar. Today was the twentieth anniversary of Crystal Academy. Class representatives were running all over preparing for the festival which would take place later that night. The festival usually the festival would be upheld by the student council, which means Prue will be helping. Brian would be on the student council, but father said to let other students get a chance at somethings too. Brian was also on the student council and to be honest, he didn't like it. The student council was in charge of classroom rules, festivals, dances, and everything else. Brian's father made him sign up, Prue wanted to be on it anyway. It wasn't too good on an idea though, she is a neat freak so every time someone spilled something or put it out of place, she would tend to overreact. Anyway, the three of them got into Brian and Prue's car and they headed downtown. Prue and Marcus sat on opposite sides of Brian, which Brian hated. He honestly wanted them to get to know each other more, they weren't making it easy for him, but that's okay. Brian always likes a challenge. The car was filled with complete silence as they drove around. Marcus scanned every cafe and small restaurant he says hoping to find one which fit his standards. Prue started her job later that day, Brian started his in the morning today which fit perfectly for his plan. The car pulled up to the vet clinic which Brian worked at.
"Gotta go, see you both around 2. Bye!" Brian said as he got out.
Shutting the door behind him, the car once again filled with silence. The driver was very fond of Prue and Brian but didn't know about their father. His name was Stanley, he was a funny and very attractive guy. When Prue was younger, he would take her and Brian out for ice cream all the time.
"Prue, would you like to head to work early?" Stanley asked from the front.
Prue was disrupted in her thoughts as he did so. What thoughts you might ask, well they were about Marcus of course. When Marcus was looking at the window, she stared at his long lashes, golden brown hair, and complexion. She was taken by his attractive looks, it was simply impossible not to be. She looked up and Marcus looked at her. He heard what Stanley said and shrugged. He honestly didn't care whether or not she did so.
"Sure," Prue said as she looked back at her window.
Another five minutes of silence went by until they reached the bookstore. Prue and Marcus got out, Stanley stayed inside. They hopped out of the car into the morning sun and felt the cold breeze entangle in their hair. Walking into the store, they were both embraced with a hug.
"Prue, Marcus!" Claire yelled as she squeezed them both.
"Good Morning Claire." Preu and Marcus said in unison, which made them blush a little.
Claire let them go and walked to her desk. She pulled out a big blue box from Ann's Boutique, a popular boutique downtown.
"This is for you Prue!" Claire stated with excitement.
