And we do preserve our dynamical balance - be it the endocrine balance or balance of fats - to our old age, where it degrades. The balance may be more healthy. The balance may be less healthy. But the most destructive thing possible is to destruct the working balance.
Whole industries profit from that point:
1. They persuade you that your specific balance is ugly or unhealthy.
2. They sell you some products and whole lifestyle that would push your balance in the direction advertised - but not too far.
3. Your balance would be able to restore itself. So, they do no lasting harm to your health.
4. They may sell you their products all your life.
5. If you research and implement really efficient way to push your balance too far... even if you die - their patented products didn't case it!
