章節 16: Taken
"Hey sorry for bumping into you" I smile back, I walk away but before I reached my classroom he grabbed my hand and turned me to him.
"I didn't get to apologize" he looks into my eyes and I look back nervous trying to keep calm holding his hands.
"Sorry" I managed to say after a few minutes. He laughs and looks away.
"I'm sorry, hey will see you around" he let's go of my hand then walks away into the crowd. I finally made it to my class, I put down my things and sit down in the corner of the class. In the corner of my eye, I see a figure shaped like a human when I looked it was Alexis.
"Hey" he smiles brightly at me then takes the empty seat next to me.
"Oh hey" I smile back at him then look away to my books.
"How you been?" His eyes focus on me when I turned my body to him.
"I mean nothing changed since yesterday." I look at his eyes then look back down shy for some reason.
"Yeah, but I wanted to check if you were okay since I'm not picking you up and hanging out with you anymore" he smirks at me cocky.
"I don't really care" I say turning my body back facing the front of the class.
"Okay class start working on your work, I will be in the back grading so don't bother me unless you have questions. Yes you can listen to music" he sits down in the back of the class in his chair.
I take out my earphones and put them in each ear then put play on the music *NightMare By Halsey*. I start to work on the worksheet, as for Alexis he taps my shoulder I take off one earphone.
"Yes?" I continue to work not facing him.
"So you don't care that I don't hang out with you anymore?" He tries looking at me but I hide my face him.
"Why do you care?" I look at him and raise one eyebrow.
"I don't I'm just asking" he rest his arms on his legs and I do the same ready to argue. I look at him and he stares at my lips.
"Then why did you ask?" I smile and place my hand on his cheek.
"Because I wanted to know" are arguement last for an hour his face close to me and we had 1 minutes left in class.
He leans in ready to kiss me but before he could..."Well here's the thing I don't need you or anyone else, I got myself" I push him back and get up. "Good luck finding anyone like me" I smile and turn going to the door then the bell rings.
I start to go to my next class, English. I sit in the front this time, but still in the corner. I start to take out my stuff again for English, as I do I look up at the desk next to me to see if it was empty but as I looked up I regret it.
"Hey Joseph" Chris smiles at me.
"Oh Hey" I turn my body again and start to take some notes for the test tomorrow.
"How are you?" Chris continues to ask me questions, but I get up and go to the teacher.
"Can I listen to music please" I ask, she nods smiling and I go back to my seat.
"Hey you didn't answer my question" Chris tries getting my attention again, but I get out my earphones and put them on.
"Leave me alone" I say as I put on music then I start to work again.
His hand slowly reaches my thigh and up, before it could go any father I smack it away and get up to switch seats. I go to the far back and sit down in the corner again.
"Hey what did you move?" I glare at him then look away sitting down.
Hours pass by and the bell rings for my last period, which was photographic class. The class tall desk and chairs almost like a science class. Anyways I sit down I front of class to hear the teacher better because I am really interested in this class, the teacher comes up to me with a camera and he places it on my desk.
"Here I have an assignment for you Joseph, I need you to go out anywhere and take pictures of anything people,plants,etc. However you can't tell anyone I'm letting you because your the only student I trust with this assignment." He smiles and I nod, he turns and goes back to his seat, I couldn't believe it I am trusted with something for once I can't wait. For the remaining of the period I tested the camera and looked every part of it, the bell rings and I put my backpack on then put the strap of the camera on my neck. I start to walk out the class going through crowds of students then finally out of school.
"Hmm where should I go?" I whisper to myself looking around and thinking of places I could go. "Eh I might as well go for something easy and go to the park" I shrug and start to walk towards the park which took a few minutes but it felt like hours. The sun's glare goes down and onto me making me hot and sweaty so I take off my jacket then wrap it around my waist, I wore a sleeveless shirt thinking it might get hot and I was right. I finally arrive at the park,trees surround it full with life green grass, green trees, and a lot of different types of flowers.
"Yeah this should work" I say to myself again. I set my things down on a bench then take the camera from my neck and start to look around. I took pictures of roses and lilies then I start to look around for people I can maybe ask to take pictures of.
A couple passes by me and before they walk off I tap the tall guy's shoulder. "Hey can I take a picture of you two, you both seem like a very cute couple," I smile and the guy turned around.
"Joseph?"
"Alex?"....
