After listening to their mother rant about how important it is for Kasumi to marry Ryota, Kokoro finally asks about the date they had.
Kasumi smiles sweetly as she remembered everything, "Well... He was so caring. He always asked how I felt or if I was comfortable. He also inquired a lot about me, like my favorite color and stuff like that."
Kokoro sighed softly at that, "I'm so proud of you, my daughter.
Kasumi brightened up, "Also, at the cafe, he asked me if I could sing for him. I did, of course, and it was wonderful! Everyone was shocked at my skill."
Then Kasumi's face went grim, "Then, Ryota complimented me. I was so happy. But then he said that he heard better. I asked who was better. He said... Miyu."
Kokoro frowned at that, "Miyu? She probably has the voice of a dying crow!"
Kasumi frowned as well, "I thought the same thing, but then it turned out that she was at the cafe too! What a coincidence! Then, Ryota asked her to sing. And she was great. She had so much energy that the crowd was singing too... and crying!"
Kasumi pouted, "I'm so jealous, she has the voice of a goddess, while I... just a talented mortal."
Kokoro thought with disbelief. This half daughter of hers... is better than her own? Impossible! Her daughter is the best at everything, and that stupid, retarded mother's child will not stand in the way of Kokoro's daughter and her future!
Kokoro grinned a slow and evil grin, "Come with me, child. Let's show her what happens when you mess with us, the true family of the Fujimuras!"

Ryota unfroze and looked at the giggling beauty on the bed. He sighed and sat down next to her. He was mad he failed to trap her in a bet and get her to do something she would never do without a good reason, but he's happy that she's laughing.
Arata bit her hand and made Miyu scream slightly out of pain. When Ryota heard that, he almost strangled the annoying pest but then Arata said, "Stop goofing off, there's a presence idiots! It's... Your stepmother?"
Miyu understood what he meant with the question, "She's back? So early?"
Arata nodded, "Yes, that's definitely her."
Miyu looked at Ryota, "Leave. Now."
Ryota touched his chest, feigning hurt, "Wow, Miyu. So blunt. You want me to leave that badly?"
Miyu sighed, "Unless you want to be caught in my room! Imagine the rumors!"
Ryota sighed, "I guess I'll leave. But not really, I'll wait in the tree till they leave."
Miyu smiled, "Thank you. But promise me won't come back until they leave, okay? Even if they hit me, okay?"
Ryota groaned, imagining him watching someone hit her and being able to do only nothing, "Fine, but try not to get too hurt, okay?"
Miyu punched him in the shoulder childishly, "Sure... Bye now!"
Ryota smiled and jumped out the window, "Bye!"
