The trick to replacing someone with a clone, is by using 2 clones. Now, instead of there being a 50/50 chance of figuring out who the real person is, turn that 50/50 into a 100% guarantee, since both options are clones.
Of course, you could just use one clone and get rid of the original person, but that's boring.
