章節 3: CHAPTER 2 AGE 5 MEMORY'S RETURN PART TWO STATUS AND QUEST
Thomas was cleared to go home after a week of test's. He had memories that were not his own flooding into his brain. Some were gory and graphic, some were sweet and kind. At some point he realized the man he used to be had illicit feelings towards his mother. He was revolted, soon the memories stopped. His personality had aged alittle, but he was still five years old. He was sitting in the dining room on a couch as he was trying to sort things out. He heard a ding.

He saw the words flash scroll across his eyes, right to left. "What the hell?"
He hears a voice, it sounded familiar. "Hey Alex it's been awhile hasn't it? Hmmmm five year's give or take a few months. So Alex let me give you the rundown on how status works. You think of it and it will show you your stats. It will look like this."

Thomas looks surprised and finally remembers his death " I died huh? Does that mean im him?"
Thomas hears death laugh. "No no no you are him and he's you." Thomas could hear knee slapping. "Shouldn't you be I dunno gloomy?"
Death sighed "I am actually quite the opposite. I love life and life loves me. Literally. Life begets death and from death, life. Everything in between is chaos…..tch annoying bastard."
Thomas didn't quite hear that as was playing around with the status display.

"Umm what's this?" Thomas asked with some confusion.
"Oh thats your quest tab. Simply put myself and two others I've already mentioned will be giving quest's out from time to time. Sometimes they can help you predict some events, and yes you will be rewarded depending on the objective. No we won't tell you what you will get."
Thomas looked irritated. "Why won't you?"
"Simple if you did things based on reward and not on your own convictions then where would the fun in that? Besides it won't be sunshine and daisies all the time. Remember each action has a counter action."
Thomas looked at his quests "Is there a time frame to complete these?"
"Nope." Death says as he/she pops the P. "Oh I almost forgot to mention on your status the rankings go like this:
We're going with a letter system F-sss. F is a failure which usually results in a negative way. E is weak, you won't hurt yourself or have any negative side effects. D is average, your normal....too bad. C is above average. B is almost perfect so you don't need to worry. A is perfect not you can do to become better. S well your a good in that so there's no stopping you. There's low, mid, and high tiers, and there are sub categories but I'm not going to go into that yet…...right seeya and good luck with those quest's."
Thomas was about to shout wait as the door opens and his mother walks in. "Hey sweetie I got someone to introduce you to." In walks a old man with salt grey hair, mustache and eyes that have seen a hard life.
"This is your grandpa Walter"
