章節 36: Their First night together (1)
Nero booked a super luxurious room of a five star hotel at the heart of Highland City. The rooftop is a bar by night and a restaurant by day. The hotel is situated on a hilltop overlooking the entire city and the view is most beautiful at night.
Nero had been busy checking the preparation of their first night together while his wife was out there doing exams. He ordered the hotel staff to finish everything before five o'clock. From the bathroom to the bedroom to the balcony to the dining table to violinists. He paid a large sum of money for the hotel to arrange this before the sun sets. Seeing things were almost done, he went out to stroll near the school where Daryle's examination was held. There is a small park where the students relax during their break time. With hands in his pockets, Nero leisurely walked around as his thought was running wild imagining their first night together.

Daryle didn't find the exam too hard. She was just as relaxed as when she was taking a preliminary exam way back during school days. The only difference was that it took the almost six hours. There were three categories which were alloted two hours each.
She got out from the examination room at four thirty in the afternoon. She was the first one to finish her exam. She didn't want to go home immediately so she dropped by a fast food chain restaurant to grab a quick snack. She was munching on her potato wedge trying to recall the questions she just answered when her phone vibrated in her bag. She switched it into a silent mode this morning before taking the exam. Taking her phone out, she remembered she needed to call her husband to pick her up.
[Babe, I miss you. Pls call me if you're done. I'm just around the corner.] Nero's message read.
'Oh, my bad! How can I forgot about it!' she muttered at herself as she pressed the call icon.
"Hubby, where are you?" She automatically asked.
"Wow! I love that Mrs. Carlson. Say that again please?" Nero laughed heartily from the other side.
"Mr. Carlson, I'm here at the fastfood chain next to the school. Where are you?" She said.
"Okay wifey, I'm at the school park. I'll be right there." He said as he jogged towards the fastfood towards the right side of the school.
"Hi wifey, missed you so much!" He said as he kissed her lips without any care if she was eating or if others were watching.
"Hmmmm... how was your day hubby? Daryle asked as she reached out to stroke the back of his head.
"Guess..?" He winked at her.
"I think you slept whole day!" She said laughing as she tossed another potato wedge into her mouth then feed Nero with two.
"Awww, sweet wife. Thank you." He said as he opened his mouth to eat from.Daryle's hand. " But nope, I didn't sleep because I realized I couldn't sleep without you." He grinned.
"Tch, so don't tell me you'll sleep flat tonight?" She said. She already knows what verdict was awaiting her.
"That's exactly what will happen when the night falls right?" He pinched her pointed small nose. "Shall we go now? Don't eat too much junk food . We can eat at the hotel." Nero pulled her up and let her our with his hand on her shoulders.

"It's too early to go home ,don't you think?" Daryle tried to buy time to prepare herself for tonight. "Why dont we go to my parents first then we can go to your hotel from there. I need to get some stuff also." She said.
"Okay, but we will not stay there for dinner okay?" Nero answered.
Just then an empty cab passed by infront of them, they stopped it and got it quickly.
"Are we going down to the Capital City together or you stay here?" Daryle asked.
"What a question! The question is, are you still going down to work just after your wedding?" He winked and covered her lips with his.
"I've told my big boss that I'll be back on Monday." She said.
"In that case, I should also go down. You can ask your big boss to release you if you want. I don't want you to get tired. But I'm not going to ask you to stop working if it makes you happy. Only, please don't engage in strenuous work. okay?" He said with much gentleness.
"Yes boss!" She replied.
"Also, my unit is just near your workplace, you need to move in as soon as we get there." he said.
"Really? just walking distance?" She raised her brows at him.
"Uh huh? And I also need you to accompany me to the US Immigration next week. I need to update my status. But we can talk about this later sweetie." He said. They need to focus on things one day at a time. This will be their first night together. They shouldn't spoil it.
