In a interrogation room
Sat there, Kiana was continuously bombarded by Glyndas scolding, telling her how much danger she had placed herself in and how reckless it was.
But such scolding did not faze Kiana as she just sat there with a calm demeanour.
Seeing this, Glynda started to feel her blood boil as she knew that she was not taken seriously.
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING YOUNG LADY.!"
.....
Even with her shouting, Kiana did not respond at all.
Rubbing her brows, Glynda literally gave up and just said in a down voice.
"Haih, but there is someone that wishes to see you please at least give him some respect."
Hearing this did pique her interest slightly as she looked up at the man whom had just entered. It was Ozpin.
(HEH PARTNER THIS GUY SEEMS RATHER STRONG AND HAS THE STENCH OF A ULTIMATE CLASS MAGE IF NOT GREATER. JUST SUMMON ME WHEN YOU NEED ME ALRIGHT)
Hearing this, Kiana did a subtle nod in response, acknowledging that the man in front of her seemed like a threat.
-Ozpins pov-
Upon entering the room, he was greeted with a girl with glowing green eyes. At first he felt nothing but after staring at her for a little, felt as if those eyes held a power greater then those of the silver eye lineage. Shocking him greatly but this did not faze him as he quickly calmed his emotions.
"Kiana Rose.... you have unique eyes."
-Kiana pov-
"Indeed i do." nodded Kiana in response to his words.
Then out of nowhere, Glynda passes a tablet to Ozpin which he then shows Kiana. On it was a video of her shooting out aura blasts continuously at the black haired lady.
"Where did you learn this? Aura is only capable of healing and protection, it is a first for someone to use aura as a projectile weapon."
"I learned how to manifest my aura in different forms from my father."
Looking at Glynda then at Kiana, Ozpin wanted to ask something else but sensing her displeasure did not ask.
"I see."
Putting down a plate, Kiana then suddenly felt ecstatic. It was her favourite snack, chocolate chip cookies. Slowly, she ate one cookie at a time in a slow but elegant manner that made her charm even greater.
"Well it's just that you are not applied in any academy for combat nor in any school at that matter. All that your records say was that you were born in Vale, raised by your father and nothing else as it is just a blank sheet."
Hearing this, Kiana understood why Ozpin gave her a curious look. Knowing that it would do no harm, she said.
"My father is a strong person and thought me most of what i needed to learn. He saw schools and academy worthless to me and that it would be more productive that he thought me himself."
However contrary to what Ozpin wanted, this did little to satisfy him and only made him more curious. The daughter is already so capable with aura manipulation, let alone her father not knowing how monstrous he may be. But knowing that the girl in front of him was someone whom will not give him an easy time, he decided to take it slowly. By enrolling her into beacon academy and letting her slowly open up.
"Now then i would like to ask why do you wish to be strong? What do you wish to become in the future?"
Upon being asked such a question, Kiana solemly looked at the ceiling. Slowly she said.
"I wish to be a huntress, one that can be the spark that lights up the darkness. I wish to be strong to protect everyone and help them, to see them smile for another day. I want to be like my father to fight for the sake of lighting up the darkness to show the people the best they can become. No matter how cruel or how benevelent my actions may be, all i wish is to create a future where the sparks of light can guide the path of man to salvation. To become a light capable of shining upon humanity and showing everyone what we are capable of becoming is my dream. As long as that goal is achieved, i will not mind what others call me for this is the path i walk and one that i shall see to the end."
Both Glynda and Oz upon hearing this, gave her a very complicated look as they knew that such words could not be uttered by a girl of her age. This was a noble aspiration that they themselves do not possess. For many, becoming a huntsman or huntress is a means of fame or profit yet to her was a means to inspire others. They both knew that this would be a path of extreme pain and suffering, there would be many obstacles ahead. Yet when they looked into her green eyes, all they saw were sheer determination and a willpower that can go against all challenges.
"Why do you have such a wish? You do know that this may lead you down the path of doom and despair."
Oz asked Kiana in a very concerned tone as he was touched by the girls confidence, a confidence greater then what he could muster in the past.
"I understand the dangers when i first walked this path, but just like my father, i aspire to become like him a person capable of lighting the path of others. No matter the pain or suffering, i shall walk this path for it is what i have chosen."
Hearing this touched Oz cold heart and hence wished to help her. Without further ado, he fished out a pre-prepaired letter of recomandation and passed it to Kiana.
"Here is a letter saying that i have accepted you into beacon academy. If such a noble cause is your dream, i hope to help pave your path to success. 2 days later there will be a ship departing to beacon academy if you wish to enter just pass it to the staff there."
Sensing his good intentions, she accepted the letter and proceeded to leave the interrogation room.
...In another room....
Opposite of the room Kiana was in, sat a man dressed in a white dress shirt. He stank of booze and behind him was a greatsword. This was Qrow, Rubys uncle.
Before the interrogation, Oz had informed him of a girl aged 15 whom looked like Summer Rose and had the same surname appeared. This caused the drunkard to immedietly sobber up and run to the police post holding Kiana.
Entering the room for Qrow, he saw a television showing the room Kiana was in. When seeing the girl, at first he felt hope. She looked like Summer when she was younger and wore a cape similar to her . But what caused him to feel despair was her eyes, they wear glowing green and not silver.
Upon noticing this, he felt extreme despair and immedietly sat back onto the chair, he wanted to habour some form of hope that Kiana may have been Ruby, but was immedietly proven wrong. He wanted to barge in and ask if she was Ruby but seeing her demenour, did not. He was in utter despair just like that day when Summer was killed and Ruby went missing.
He did not want to face the truth any longer hence drowning himself in booze day in and day out. Hoping to forget what had happened that day but it would forever haunt him. He did not want to face her at all not just because she looked so much like Summer, but also the truth of why she was acting so cold if she was Ruby.
Drowning himself in booze, Qrow just walked out of the station and left to the horizon.
