So what does a superpowered lucky man, who can destroy the world with a flick of his finger do to pass time? Well adventuring of course! He leave his house to a care taker and proceeded to travel by foot.
This time his travel was a bit of easy because he has the inventory and unlimited money. he also followed his trend from back his home world in donating a few hundred thousand bucks to a few orphanage as thanks to the good karma he had received.
back in his homeworld people didn't know that he also discovered El Dorado and not only the city of Atlantis, now he was going to do the same here.
He rediscovered El dorado and it seems like someone beat him into it, as he arrive at the same spot where he discovered El Dorado back in his homeworld. He saw various people living in the Area, He uses his Suit camouflage ability to blend in with nature and he move to the inner temple where a big statue of a four handed man/woman (gender equality) was erected but was not in his past world.
He decided to take a look closely when the statue glowed and became smaller. the form turned and became a woman and greeted him but when I say greeted, I mean greeted in a way a god did to trespassers.
A big axe Materialize in her hand as she swing it to Mark's position even though he was invisible but before it could even make contact it was stop by a Force Field which pretty much Force the woman to stop in place.
[who are you! how dare you to trespass my city!]
The woman struggled as she tried to move her body.
[Uhm...sorry I was just trying to look around and have no intention in destroying this nice city of yours] Mark replied as he cancelled his camouflage and whip out the light saber just in case and to match it, he strap Captain America's shield in his back while also changing the color into a much darker scheme similar to his suit and change the logo into a slicker the knight of the old republic logo.
[Then why did you trespass here! don't you know this place is a sacred site!! and wait!! is that a Light saber!? Are you some kind of Sith Lord!?]
The woman questioned, while her last words confuse the hell out of Mark.
[Wait!? you watch Star Wars?] If there is one thing Mark knows about Old gods from TV's is that they often were ignorant to technology.
[W-what? Of course I do! who do you think I am! some kind of uncultured swine who didn't watch TV's from time to time!? I am Mikaela the god of progress for f*** sake!] The god shouted and continued [and for the love of all holy can you release me now! it's getting really tiring in this position] The god said.
[sorry] Mark apologized and release the god [but wait? Mikaela really? I don't think there's a god of progress in Aztec Myth?]
[No. and Yes Mikaela! my name is too long to convert into the english alphabet. after those fools died out, I was born and I am the last of my kind those fools were too foolish to adapt change and died out! as for me even if the world forgets about me and only few worship me as long as there is progress I won't die out] the god said while she took a sit to her throne [Back to you stranger! why do you look like some crossover from Star wars and iron man. those light sabers! is that real?!] Mikaela was fangirling a bit on that last part and Mark just shook his head and replied
[Yes, This lightsabers are real and you must know that things are different from the old days since the arrival of superman right? I'm kind of like them but not really like them at all] Mark said a bit confusingly as the woman now vanish her glow effect in displayed her entire beauty to Mark [Wow] he muttered a bit that the god obviously heard.
Mikaela smirk and thought to herself 'I may not be the god of beauty but still I am god nonetheless' [yeah! I watch the news and I must say the feat this man called superman did was bordering god level, so are you saying you are like him? a superhero?].
[ah not really? well I don't really go out of my way helping other people but I do help sometimes if needed because this is my home now and it would be bad if this place gets destroyed by unsavory beings] Mark said.
[Not a hero but protects the world...some kind of Guardian perhaps? but anyway what brings you here in my city?] the god questioned and quite impress as well because she did create a barrier around this city to prevent any trespassers from going in here.
[Ah...I'm just some kind of traveler who was just curious to know what was generating this amount of power in the middle of the jungle] Mark thought for a moment if it was okay to show her his face but then again she did show herself to him and it was only fair enough to show his face to her. He vanish his armor with a thought showing his handsome face to the god.
the god thought 'wow now that's what I call handsome! is this man really not god? he did manage to restrain me and block my attack earlier [You sure, you are not a god? because last thing I know is that mortals aren't supposed to be able to block a god's attack and what was that power earlier]
Mark did questioned himself this, being the embodiment of force did made him powerful enough to become a god, heck now that he remembered! he did destroy a few planets out there but thankfully a quick question to God calm him down saying he restored them already.
but even so he still reject the idea of being a god because it was just too troublesome for him, he was already contented in helping once in a while and traveling the world for its secret.
[No...being a god seems too troublesome for me and what I use earlier was the force.] Mark responded.
[aha! you are a sith lord!] Mikaela said as she once again grabs her axe and tried to throw them at him but they were stop in place by Mark.
[for f*** sake I'm not a sith lord! just because I'm wearing black, I'm not a sith already! I just like the black color and can you see the tron like white outline in my suit! and it's kinda stereotypical of you to name black as evil!] Mark said while he lowered Mikaela's axe.
Mikaela blush a bit in embarrassment because it was really stereotypical to name black as such [Eh..sorry, it was just because you use the force, has a lightsaber, a black cloak and a black armor, you kinda have the typical get up of the dark side]
Mark sighed and said [Sigh....enough of this! I'm just going to go now, I'm done investigating this place] Mark decided to leave but was stop by Mikaela.
[wait! where are you going after here?] Mikaela.
[I don't know....maybe roam the Earth I guess] Mark.
[well in that case can I come? you know it's really boring here just sitting all day] Mikaela.
[eh...won't your people need you] Ask Mark confusingly.
[Naahh...Not really their completely autonomous now and beside too much interference from me will make them reliant so I don't really mingle with them that often] she said.
Mark thought for a minute and look at the expectant face of Mikaela. he can't help but sigh and said [well suit yourself! come on!].
and there goes the start of a beautiful friendship between a god and man, as they explored the land and sea for adventures.
