"Okay, the third service commence!" Charlene's voice echoed across the court. But before she could continue, Jevin and his team suddenly raised their hands for an unexpected excuse.

Seeing the game barely even heating up properly, Mark mumbled,

"Now, now. What is it again this time."

"Is it okay if we change shoes right now?" Jevin asked, leaning closer to Charlene. The two followed him from behind.

"Why? Are your current shoes not enough?" Charlene asked, pointing at the worn-out shoes they are wearing.

Jevin smiled, "Well, I am afraid we won't be able to show our best without our best shoes. Right boys?"

"Yup. The other shoes are much more comfortable and don't hurt our soles." Bogro added.

"Also, you wanted to see a good match right?" Jevin could tell that Charlene was starting to get more interested in the Sepak Takraw sport so he decided to pull some strings on her side.

Helpless, Charlene could only agree,
