"You what?" James interrupted standing up, "you hit her? How dare you?"
Rose merely tapped the table and the shouting James was restrained by two Red Roses pushing home back into his chair.
"What did I say about trying to display such on my island, as I was saying. I brought her here where she recuperating."
"I'm sorry, where is she? Can I see her?" James asked a lot more calm now that he knew Katie was fine.
"She is fine but you can't meet her."
"Why? I've come so far, please?" James pleaded.
"I'm not one to separate lovers but she doesn't remember you. It's very strange but it seems like her brain was completely.."
"Erased? Wiped clean?" Jeremy interrupted feeling very worried and obviously curious.
Rose turned to look at Jeremy buy she merely smiled and turned towards James, "blocked. It's all still there but she can't reach her memories almost like she has amnesia. And no, not like in the movies when the person forget her entire identity, it's not like that. She knows her name, her parents. She just doesn't remember you."
"Wow." James said barely audible has he sagged into his chair.
"So what do we do know?" Nathan asked.
"I have the best person taking care of her, she will be better in no time. Now I've prepared rooms for all of you, my red Roses will show you the way." With that Rose stood up and left with Liam trailing behind her.
"Wow, you are really firm. But you know Samuel seemed to have found what he was looking for" Liam said.
"Exactly what I was hoping for." Rose replied.
Soon they where all settled in there rooms, Rose sat on her bed in shorts and a jumper drinking a glass of wine and looking at the ocean on the beach when she heard someone walk into her room.
She turned to see Samuel strolling in much more comfortable outfits.
"I was expecting you darling," Rose said before running up to meet her 'man'. Samuel readily welcomed her warm embrace and open-mouthed passionate kiss.
" I'm surprised you didn't send James out when he yelled, you don't usually have much tolerance for men." Samuel said.
"Samuel I have something to tell you." Rose started.
"Oh don't, let me guess. Hmm, you are Catherine Ning the princess. You've been misleading everyone in your life and this whole thing. The red hair, the obsession with the roses it's all to build your alias. Let me know we're am wrong." Samuel said calmly but with fury evident in his eyes.
"You don't understand.."
"I don't understand, I planned on leaving my life to live with you because I knewy parents won't accept you. You were carrying my baby and yes we lost it but I still loved you. But what did you do? You left, you left our dream home, you left the life we had planned, you left me." Samuel said now with his voice slightly higher.
"Let me just explain,"
"No! There is nothing to explain. You offered to help me find my sister and that's all we need to talk about." With that Samuel turned to leave.
"No, please don't go. I love you, I did this to p..."
"Don't you dare say protect me, I'm pretty sure I don't need you to protect me!" Samuel continued to walk out when something cut his eye, he turned towards the opening into her closet to see family set clothes and bedtime stories and toys.
"I also lost my baby, I wanted nothing more than to live my life peacefully with you, my child was also taken from and I don't know how to move on." Rose said amid tears, "so no, I didn't do it to protect you I did it to protect me because I know the more I see you the more I'll picture my child being just like you. It hurts Sammy, it hurts so bad." Now Rose was currently bawling on the floor, she suddenly felt a warm embrace envelope her.
"It's okay, it's going to be alright."
