章節 110: Take Your Time

A second, five, ten, went by without a word from Kim. Carl was secretly counting in his heartwaiting for her answer, to his chagrin, three minutes passed by without her giving him an answer.

Those three minutes felt like three hours to him. Uneasiness ate at his nerves as he did not know whether to be relieved or not. Her silence could mean he either had a chance with her or she could not turn him down. Carl wished it was the former.

Getting up from the couch, he walked up to her silently. Just a step away, he stopped then he stretched his hands to rub her dye-colored hair. "Take your time, I'll wait for your answer."

After his words, he put down his hands and turned away. His eyes and chest hurt and his head was throbbing too but he did not want to influence her decision in anyway so he rushed to take a bath, hiding his saddened state.
