"Clara," He opened the door and stood in the doorway, "I love you."
"Huh? I know that."
"I am leaving."
"Where are you going?"
"I can't tell you."
"Why not?"
"The DSG, they were here, so I need to leave this place, I won't be able to see you or talk to you, it would make you a target," He walked over to her, "I am sorry."
"It's not your fault," She kissed him, "I will miss you."
"I will as well."
"I hope you are fine wherever you are, maybe one day we can see each other again."
"I want you to remember me, one day, I'll come back, will you remember me?"
"Of course I will, I love you, I don't think that I will ever forget you."
"If I could, I would ask to marry you, but I can't."
"Really?"
"Yes, but, now I must leave, I am sorry, I wish I could stay."
"When you return, will you marry me?"
"If you still want to when I come back."
"I love you."
"I love you as well."
He left the next morning, at 4:30 in the morning, getting on a plane, heading to Berlin, Germany, the city where Clara would return after her graduation. He never graduated, but it was the lesser of his problems. He lived in an apartment, near the palace, Clara's home. Catherine for some reason, was willing to help set this up for him. Maybe she wasn't the bully he had seen her as the 5 years they had known each other. His home was a three room apartment a few roads away from the palace, with everything he could need, Catherine had set up a bank account for him that he could use, he didn't have a job. He spent most of his time thinking about Clara and lazing around, watching the news and looking up everything about Clara, watching his matches of the Spring Tournament.
