章節 3: Escape

Footsteps are heard above us. Loud and reckless, I pay my condolences as I already know that person has just walked them selves into their grave. A muffled scream is sent piercing our ears following with a quick snap. Oozing crimson blood seeps through the cracks and falls lifelessly onto our faces. I never tasted someone else's blood before. One thing to cross of my bucket list🤷🏽‍♀️. Whilst it was busy feasting ,we took the chance to run for our lives. I signal to George and he follows me behind; I have this feeling where I want to protect him even though he's taller ,more fit and the same age as me. He really acts like an annoying child, I swear. Why was I of all people partnered with him. It's the end of the world and I'm with someone who I'd have a less chance of survival with. Out of nowhere and I mean NO WHERE,the guy trips and falls making a thud. Why is he so damn clumsy. Great! It heard and once again we're running for our lives. I look behind and see George limping far off from me,not far behind him is his death. I could of just left him there but I'm human after all, a decent one. Running back ,I support him and we hide in the deep bush. You're reading this thinking 'why the hell are we hiding in a bush' ,well you see these...these monsters don't have great eyesight. We were taught to hide in places like these for a greater chance of survival. 'Quiet!' George's heavy breathing comes to a halt and we're taken aback by the sight in front of us. I don't even want to describe it,I've never seen one up so close. It walked right past us. What a dummy.
