章節 8: Disappointed
On that faithful Sunday evening Sonia was still not sure if she should honour the invitation or not but she was still curious as to who might have been sending those gift to her for the past three months. She decided to call her friend to seek her opinion on the matter " Babes how are u, what's up? ". "nothing much " Sonia responded " I just want to seek your opinion on something ". "Go ahead "Sandra responded. Sonia told Sandra everything and how she is not sure if she should go or not. "oh girl I will advice you to go, because if u don't u might end up regretting why you didn't go". " thanks dear " Sonia said.
Emmanuel got himself ready and headed to the hotel before 4:00pm. As soon as he got inside the room he decided to take a nap before Sonia arrive. He slept off when he finally woke up it was past 6:00pm and Sonia wasn't there yet, so he decided to call the reception to see if maybe someone came looking for him. when he called he was informed that no one came looking for him. Emmanuel couldn't believe it that Sonia didn't honour his invitation. He decided to wait a little more thinking that maybe it's traffic that was holding Sonia.
Sonia after the call she made to her friend decided to get ready to go and see Emmanuel, after dressing up she started having double mind about going. finally she decided she wasn't going "if he wants to see me he should come to my house since this mysterious admirer knows my house I can't go to the hotel to look for someone I don't know ". With that she removed her clothes and sat on her bed.
Emmanuel waited for another one hour but she didn't show up. He decided to go back home since she has disappointed him.
Emmanuel the next day sent Sonia gift and attached a letter asking Sonia why she didn't make it to the hotel on Sunday. He told her he was so much disappointed in her.
