"I guess you are the one, who saved me," said the red-skin man weakly. "Yes, I was lucky," I replied, to which he smiled, but there wasn't much mirth in his smile.
"I saw my condition, before fainting. Luck was the last thing, you needed to save me," he said.
This time, I didn't say anything.
For a few seconds, nobody spoke, before a wooden box appeared in his hand and he handed it to me.
"Please, accept this as my thanks," he said, and I took the box without hesitation. I deserve it; he was nearly gone and if not for me, he would have died.
Not to mention the things I had used were very rare and I hope, whatever it has, would be enough to make up for what I had spent.
"Thank you," I said and walked away.
"Hey, stop," said the familiar voice, and couldn't help, but sigh internally. What I am fearing that happened and I hope, I will be able to get out of it soon and safely.
