章節 11: Chapter Ten

Something was touching me.

Cold skin touched my shoulder. Slender fingers ran up and down my arm, swirling in little patterns. Cold lips touched my neck, another set of fingers twirling my hair.

I flip over, my eyes barely able to open. When they do, I'm met with a slightly pale face and mesmerizing dark hair. Looking at the face in front of me, with their cold green eyes, I panicked.

"Get the hell away from me!" I push his face away from my own, scrambling backwards and falling on my butt on the hard floor.

"Hey! Calm down. Everything's alright." I knew that voice. I spent the night with that voice.

"A-Anti?" my voice shakes.

The man in the bed gets up. I realize that I never saw the man I did. The two green eyes I once saw were two different colors. His hair was no longer jet black, but the deep brown I knew.

Anti swiftly got off the bed. He quietly made his way over to me, sitting in front of me.

His hand, warmer than before, reached up and lightly grazed my face. Only then did I realize tears fell from my eyes.

He didn't say another word. Instead, he gently pulled me into his lap, his hand running through my hair sweetly. My arms wrapped around his thin, yet built, shoulders. I nuzzle my face against the crook of his neck, feeling his warmth.

I could tell that Anti was trying to say something, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. My vision grew blurry, my mind was hazy, and before I knew it, my eyes were seeing black.

. . .

A hand wove through my hair.

People were talking, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. It sounded like gibberish to me.

My eyelids were so heavy, I could barely open them to allow myself to see.

I rolled over, releasing a grunt as I did so, trying to sit up. Hands pulled on my shoulders, motioning for me to lie back down. I didn't listen and continued to try and push myself up.

My hands rubbed at my eyes, helping me to open them slightly.

"You alright, (Y/n)?" I look to my left, seeing Anti by my side, his hand gently resting on my thigh.

Mark sat to my right, silent. The other two men were nowhere to be seen.

"(Y/n)?" I forgot that Anti was speaking to me.

I put my hand against my head. "I'm fine. Just tired and my head hurts."

"Sean and Dark are on their way back. They're picking up some painkillers for you." His thumb rubs my leg comfortingly. "You're welcome to lie back down."

As much as I wanted to, I couldn't. So I shook my head. "No, I need to get awake. Besides, we have class today right?"

Anti nods his head. "Starts in about an hour. I don't think you should go though if you're in this state."

I wave him off. "It's fine. I'll be fine. Just need to get rid of this headache and I'll be good to go."

Five minutes later and the two missing boys have returned with a bag of painkillers. Searching for the headache medication, I open the child-proof bottle and dump out a few pills. With a sip of water, I take the pills and lay back in my bed for a bit.

Sean and Dark sit on the foot of my bed, leaving all the boys surrounding me.

"So," I begin, "what'd I miss in class yesterday?"

"Nothing much," Sean says. "Just a few notes. I can give them to you before our lecture if you'd like."

I nod my head. Reaching into my satchel that I had by my bed, I grab a pen and a journal. When Sean grabs his notes from out of his bag, he hands them over to me and I quickly copy down every thing he wrote.

"Thanks."

Sean nodded his head at me like it was no deal.

Fifteen minutes later, my headache is gone and I'm gathering my things for class. The other boys do the same as I wait for them on my bed.

Once everyone is ready to go, I open the door, prepared to walk out and leave. Instead, I run straight into Bedelth.

The snotty girl scoffs at me, shoving me out of the way before going toward Anti and Dark, attaching to them at the hip.

I roll my eyes and continue to walk out.

We made it to the classroom five minutes before the lesson began. We claimed the seats at the top again, getting an overhead view of everything.

Anti and Dark sat next to me this time, their "other-halves" next to them. Anti's hand was wrapped around mine. He still seemed very concerned about earlier.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen him show an actual emotion.

. . .

After taking notes and finishing the lesson, we waited for everyone else to file out.

Just as we were about to leave, I caught sight of dark hair out of my peripheral.

Dark green eyes too...

My hand, still connected with Anti's, squeezed. He seemed to know I was trying to get his attention and turned around. I could've sworn the man growled before forcefully taking me out of the building.

But Mike followed.
