章節 5: Early Morning
'Wake up Wake up.. To the bright new morning... ' Her alarm was playing from five minutes. Still it didn't affect Mari.
But it made her roommate lose her sleep.
As her sleep was disturbed she got up and pulled Mari's blanket and startled her.
In this manner her day started. She thanked her and made the girl sleep again. Later she reached her office after taking a direct cab.
There were many young people like her. They were to have three months training under a manager and then the actual work started.
She was allotted a morning batch of 5.30. She herself choose that time as she would get an extra allowance. Little did she knew that she would regret the decision.
When the ended she had made new friends. But amongst them no one choose the morning batch so she was left alone.
In the evening when she came home tired,she was feeling satisfied. It was like fulfilling her dream. She then called at home and reported about the day.
'Dare you put that alarm tommorow, I ll put cold water on you. ' Her roomi said in a mocking voice.' Then can you please wake me up in the morning?? Up till now my friend used to call me everyday for me to wake up. I am used to her calling, but now I don't want to burden her for sometime. '
After a minute she said yes. They ate their dinner together and went to sleep.
In the morning when she had to get up and get a bath.. She wished she had not choose the morning batch.
She was late by 10 min and thought she would get scolding on the very day itself, but on the whole floor it was just a keeper and the manager.
She approached the manager room thinking about an aged man who ll now give her a good scolding.
Only to see, the manager was a handsome man in his early thirties and smiled at her warmly.
Relief washed over her.
'Hello, Mari. Good Morning. You are the trainee right? I already knew you were coming as no one else had choose the morning batch. '
' Good morning Sir, sorry for been late. I will come on time from tommorow. '
He nodded and asked her to wait for few minutes on the desk.
She liked him in an instant.
