Soon, every single paper in the company was on the floor. Leo can't determine if they are searching for a paper or a human but still, he kept quiet and cooperate. He didn't want to create any new problem. Just then, he saw his father coming and he sighed in relief. Of course, he knew how to handle these type of situations...
Jennifer saw her father-in-law coming towards them and she smiled at him, making her cute dimples visible. Because if this, everyone around her thought that she was an innocent and petite woman and was very graceful. Only she and her husband knew how gentle and fragile she was.
He also smiled gently at his daughter-in-law. He looked at his son in approval and wondered what he ever did to get such a good wife... He asked Leo about the details. Leo explained that he got a call and he told them the truth but still they were investigating. Leo's father stood silent, thinking about something.
He maybe knew why this happened. Jennifer became alert and ask the colour from her face changed when he went to the officer and started talking to him. This was the first time she was cursing her deaf self. She never ever got discouraged due to her handicapped ways.
