章節 4: One night in years ago. (Turan Village)
In a small village called Turan, there live a new villager consists of a beautiful young married couple with a small daughter. The elder of the village doesn't know where they come from. But from his old eyes and experience dealing with various kind of peoples, he got the feels that those new tenants are not the bad ones and very courteous.
Furthermore, the elder's first grandchild, Aran, who always quiet and don't have any interest in playing with any other kids, for the very first time has a brighten eyes when he sees the toddler belonging of the young couple.
The young mother who been watching the small boy's interest towards her daughter just smile kindly to him. She nodded before letting her daughter down from her embrace. Barely can standing properly, the small girl quickly grabs her mothers' hem to stabilized her standing.
Understand the small signal from the young mother, Aran gets up quickly and walk closer. In front of the young lady, Aran standing straight before giving a polite bow and saying his gratitude for letting him play with her daughter.
Watching his grandson be courteous with his guests, the elder cannot help himself from puffing his chest, feeling proud at Aran's manners. The three adults just watch silently when Aran put his arm around the waist of the toddler.
He carefully hugs her, who half of his size and walk away from the adult, who still keep watching him behind his back. But even with the staggering walk, he still held her close, afraid dropping her by accident.
But with every step he makes, the small feet keep hitting his knees. After struggling a few minutes with a hard task, he manages to bring his new friend at the corner within the living room safely without dropping her.
Putting the small toddler on his lap and leaning his small back against the wall to support his new additional weight, he retrieves back his discarding book. After making sure he and his new companion has comfortable sitting, then he started reading for a small girl who leaned against him with a quiet voice.
The young father raised his eyebrow because her daughter normally not comfortable with any stranger and always throwing tantrum whoever holds her apart from her parents. And the young mother who happen to watch his husband expression just now, just pat his husband hand who rest on the armchair.
The young father glance at his hand and then towards his wife. Looking at his wife's eyes full of laughter as if laughing at his jealousy when his precious daughter give her attention to another man beside him so easily. He just shakes his head and grabs her hand and rest in on his lap instead. Both of them blushes when they notice the elders smile at their affectionate behavior.
As soon the new family settles down in one of abandon house a bit far from other people house, Aran will come every day to play with the toddler who he keeps calling as Rose even though the parents of the girl said it wasn't her name.
But when Aran said she smelled like a rose. The pair adult was pale a bit. The young father crouched down until he was the same eye level to Aran. Grabbing both of small shoulder of Aran, the young father said very seriously.
"Aran, if you want us to stay longer here, you must stop calling my daughter as Rose and don't tell other people that you smelled her like a rose."
Aran nodded and keep his promise. Even though he is still young, he knew Rose's father warning is real. Thus, three years passed peacefully at the Turan Village.

Shima_Himawari My characters and I been fighting since I start to publish Blood Minus. I need some time to make an adjustment in story setting to make sense to the reader. They order me (very shameless ) to make it like it was plan earlier. They don't give a damn when I insisted it will confuse the reader and maybe after the first 50 chapters, everything plot make sense. To make it worse, Miss Nuggets and Lemonade's characters also strike against me for ignoring their updates.
