The breakfast table was laid with French toast, coffee, a glass of milk and steamed dumplings. Jin Qingling, Gen and Xiao Li were sitting around the table eating silently. Xiao Li was given a glass of milk while the two adults were drinking coffee. The atmosphere looked harmonious but it didn't look familial.

"Eat carefully Xiao li, the dumplings are still hot," said Jin Qingling as she took a sip of her coffee. Even though the little girl was only three, she ate neatly for the kids of her age without making a mess around her.

"Are you free today?" Gen directed his question towards Jin Qingling who looked up at him lifting her head.

"I have an interview today. Why do you ask?" She asked a question of her own as she put more dumplings in Gen's plate.
