章節 31: Turn mood
"Here!!!" Erica stomped the meal tray in front of Seb who was reading her notes,"I've brought your B-lunch, which shamefully consist of milk and boiled potatoes with a pudding. Totally a patient's meal", Erica expressed gross.
"What? I love to eat them anyways", Seb said as she took a sip of the banana milk.
"Please tell me to make your lunch instead of this, I make mine too", Erica said.
"I'd love to, but I'd hate to burden you with more things already. You've done a lot", Seb said.
"I don't mind really, I'll just make a little more than mine", said Erica and smiled.
The truth was that Seb felt sorry towards her. Erica cared for her selflessly. It's true that Seb cared too, but all she did was lie to her about Iven. It wasn't any feeling of jealousy, but Iven had never been with a women before other than Seb. And just because it was her, she could deal with him. It's not news that he's indeed dangerous for Erica to be near him. He was unpredictable and it's unknown when he'll lose his temper and Erica can be the victim. She was not as strong as Seb and is pretty sensible.
"By the way, Iven might show up in the open match", words slipped from her mouth.
Erica's eyes were bulged as she exclaimed,"What??? You're telling me now?"
"He told me yesterday. Why are you getting so worked up anyways?",Seb covered up.
"You met him yesterday?", Erica was again on the loophole.
"He texted me", Seb lied again.
"Alright", saying Erica started arranging her bag,"I'll be running early today. You'll gone for practice anyways".
"Where are you off to?", Seb asked with a stuffed mouth.
"To the parlor. I'll get my hair done", Erica replied.
"What for?", Seb asked,"Don't tell me for the match".
"I can try at least", Erica blushed.
"Honestly Eric, it's not a very good idea", Seb suggested,"You're overdoing things".
Seb didn't try to stop her though. She couldn't say anything more. Erica was taking her hopes too high. She couldn't destroy it. She knew that it'll smash itself soon. She could only wait until.
It was all Iven's fault!!! Had he not acted all dazzling in front of her for nothing!!!
She stuffed her mouth with the whole pudding at once angrily.
"Ew Seb!!!", Erica said disgusted,"It's so awful! How can you eat like that?", she scolded.
"Now you're gonna object at the way I eat?" Seb retorted.
"It's really gross!!!", complained Erica.
Seb rolled her eyes, ignored and continued to chew. Erica didn't raise any further objections because it was of no use.
"You're going to make it in time of the match, right?", Seb asked when she was about to leave.
"You bet! Before it starts", Erica assured.
Why do I have a feeling that she's going to reach the grounds from midnight and wait till the next day, thought Seb.
