章節 62: Just Not Today(1)
Today was supposed to be the wedding day until they decided to move it. The nervous feeling that she felt before just by thinking about walking down the aisle. Fortunately, she dodged that epic moment and moved it away from her path and to the future.
It was a busy day for the company. Right after they scheduled everything, everyone went to work. Vivian's team set up the area where they would do the photo shoot.
She contacted the artists beforehand and made sure that they won't be late even for a second.
2 hours had passed and they were almost finished. The team had a hard time focusing as they were focused by the time which distracted them. Liana was on scolding mode as some employees were being lazy.
She wanted to punish them but she simply did not have enough time for them.
"what's the schedule for for today and tomorrow again?" Niko asked through the phone.
She flipped her hair before opening her journal and told him, " today, there would be 2 booths, package booth and the 5 minute booth. We estimate that the package booth would sell 2000 package and if not, the remaining package will be sold for tomorrow. For tomorrow, we will have the 5 minute talk booth again and the photo booth, "
" what's your opinion about it? "
" well, the photo booth and the 5 minute booth would score high than the package booth since the prices are lower but that depends if they wanted to take 1-5 pictures. But I'm sure that we will sell a lot of package. It's worth it. Also, I already told my classmates about the event. So, the package booth would be receiving money all day, "
" take care of the event. I'll be back after this damn business trip, "
" okay. Take care of yourself too and if you have a hard time making a decision ask yourse—"
" what would Liana choose, I get it. "
She slid the phone on her blouse pocket before turning her head to the employees. They nervously smiled at her emotionless face.
She sighed mentally before she smiled at them. She was afraid that she might have scared them.
"guys, can someone start printing the photos, please? Hey, where are the envelopes and craft papers? Wax candles and the stamps? Vivian, did you and your team start writing the letters? I'm sure everyone is good at calligraphy,"
"miss Vivienne, we figured out that the package would be $75 dollars. The package includes 8 individual photos of the casts, 2 team photos, 2 sealed envelopes with letter and1 greeting card,"
Liana went silent for a while before she agreed to the deal. She proceeded to ask the other teams and kept on lending her hands to them.
" we reached the maximum number of people. There are already two thousand, " Vivian told her.
" the event is on your hand, Vivian. I trust you. I'll be back later," she excused herself before going to the exit.
When she got inside her car, she immediately unbutton her shirt and turned on the air conditioner. She rested for few minutes before she drove herself back to the company.
Right after she got inside her office, she told herself to sleep for an hour or so.

When she woke up due to the sound of her phone ringing, she saw a few missed calls and messages from Jun, Bianca, and Ashley.
"yes?"
"where were you? Anyways, when are you coming home? Mom's thinking of having dinner with my family next week,"
"you miss me?" she teased as she picked up her handbag and walked out of the office.
"what do you think so? Of course! Now hurry up and drag yourself here. I'll be waiting, darling. " he exclaimed.
She chuckled as she placed her phone back to her bag and went inside the elevator. She ignored the employees who were giving her the attention she didn't need that time.
When she got inside her car and was already on the road, she felt someone else was following her. She looked at the side mirror and noticed a van behind her car. She tried to shrug it off, thinking that it was coincidental.
When she made a left turn, opposite of her direction, she immediately pulled her bag to her side and called Niko.
She groaned when no one answered her calls and she purposely hit the steering wheel. She looked at the side mirror again and noticed that they were truly following her.
She closed her eyes and breathed heavily before pushing the specialized button on the side of the steering wheel before opening the glove compartment and grabbed the S&W shield 9mm and her Glock 26 Gen 5, 9mm pistol.
