"Doctor, I don't want to hide anything from you either. I hope you'll be able to help me in getting back my memories." Jayne told Dr Thomas with eyes full of expectations.

The doctor beamed, "Rest assured. You can trust me one hundred percent. And also you will be my special interest since you are Ronnie's special interest." The doctor winked at Jayne with a teasing smile.

Jayne faked a smile while rather she was so embarrassed that she wished that the grounds swallowed her right now.

"Okay Jayne I'll do some counselling sessions for you. We'll talk with each other. Answer my questions without any hurry. You don't need to pressurise yourself too." Dr Henry Thomas comforted Jayne.

"Sure doctor." By now Jayne felt better at ease with him.

"Fine Jayne. Good luck to you. Also though I don't have any wine here. I'll toast with this glass of water to you.. Cheers to our collaboration!" Dr Henry Thomas grinned.

Jayne held out the other glass of water and clinked glasses with him.

"I'll see you soon then Jayne." they both walked out of the study to Ronnie and Daniel.

Ronnie immediately stood up when he saw them coming. Jayne's bandage was gone. Ronnie sighed inwardly on seeing that.

"Ronnie she's getting better both physically and mentally. You don't have to worry anymore. Take her home. Let her do anything she likes rather than being idle. Get her involved with something. I plan on doing a couple of counselling sessions to her."

"Since her physical wounds are getting better I'll only prescribe this cream to her. Apply it everyday. And in case there is any pain give these painkillers. Plus these are supplements to replenish her body. Take them for a month or two. Ensure that she eats good, nutritious food everyday. " Dr Henry Thomas gave an elaborate explanation on taking care of Jayne along with the medicines and creams.

"Thanks a lot Uncle. When shall we get back to you then?" Ronnie felt grateful.

"Get her after the festive season. Oh yes! Since you are here, let me wish you guys a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year." Dr Henry Thomas grinned like a child.

Since it was the Christmas season, celebrations, partying, happiness was in the air.

"Thanks a lot Uncle. Wishing you a Merry Christmas. We'll get back to you soon." Ronnie and Jayne wished Dr Henry Thomas and they left.

It was already lunch time by now. So, Ronnie took her on a lunch date. He drove Jayne to an upclass restaurant's private room where reservations and arrangements were already made.

As soon as they entered in, they were welcomed with sweet soothing music. Ronnie then pulled Jayne into his embrace which Jayne never expected. She grasped under his sudden touch and rested her head on his chest.

He then whispered in her ears, "Let's dance darling."

Jayne writhed when his soft breaths and raspy voice tickled her ears. She hugged him tighter.

Ronnie chuckled. As much as he wanted to hug her and remain remain like that, he also wanted to dance with her since the day he'd seen her dancing carefree in Da Nuru's wedding.

Suddenly he let loose and pulled her out of his embrace.
