Jiang Yuyan felt frozen inside the moment she saw her mother-in-law. Now finally it was time to face her. Secretly Jiang Yuyan wished if she could stay away for longer as she was not ready to face all this yet.

Ning Jiahui looked the same as always and walked towards them while Jiang Yuyan felt her mother-in-law could make her heart beat faster than her sons. She felt her palm turn sweaty to think how her mother-in-law would react seeing her together with her younger son. 

Ning Jiahui smiled at them, "Finally you two are back?"

"How have you been, mother?" Lu Lijun asked while Jiang Yuyan didn't know how to reply and only smiled politely. 

"I am good," Ning Jiahui replied, "for breakfast, I have prepared what you two like. Go freshen up and come for breakfast first," she said normally as if there was nothing wrong. 

"Thank you, mother," Lu Lijun replied and just then Lu Jinhai came downstairs.
