Jiang Peizhi laughed heartily. "That's good then. She will get the love of two people. Nowadays, no one spends their life with a single person and it's common to get married twice."
Getting annoyed with his laughter and feeling displeased with his comments, Mo Ruolan gave him a narrowed eyes look.
Though, Jiang Peizhi brushed it off with laughter, there was a sign of worry in his eyes which he tried to hide behind the laughter. After all, he was Jiang Yuyan's father, and it was obvious for him to feel concerned about his daughter, but he didn't want to worry his wife further.
Jiang Peizhi thought about something and asked his wife, "Wait-wait. Master said that she would be a renowned person in the business world in the future. Is that why you are insisting on her to study business management?"Mo Ruolan nodded. "Well, you can say that." Pausing for a while she explained, "It's not bad to have extra knowledge."
She looked at her husband for approval, but it happened otherwise.
"You can't do this to her. You know she has a different dream. After what she has been through, we have already decided to let her live the way she wants."
"I know!"
"Then?"
"I am not stopping her from doing what she wants to do. Even in the past, I have done nothing of the sort, but this time it's different. I want her to complete business management, and after that, she is free to do what she wants to do with her life."
Mo Ruolan said firmly, showing that she wouldn't change her decision. "Also, because of what happened in the past, I wish for her to live a better life ahead," she continued.
Jiang Peizhi gave up in front of her as he somewhere trusted his wife's decision.
"Okay! As you wish, dear." He gave her a resigned smile and commented.
"No one can avoid what's written in their destiny, so what is the use of feeling worried? This is between you and her; I will not meddle in your business. I will just be a bystander."
Mo Ruolan smiled, "Good!"
The discussion ended right there.
"Have you prepared everything for the wedding anniversary?" Asked Jiang Peizhi when he saw the relief on his wife's face.
"Yes, the gift is ready, too," she replied.
"My dear wife, always ready for everything. What would I have done without you?"
Giving out a sigh, Mo Ruolan said in a sarcastic voice, "Done with your flattery? When you meet your friend Lu Jinhai, I will wait and see if you still need me."
"Wifey, they say 'sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.'"
Mo Ruolan frowned. "Haven't you heard the saying? 'You should not piss off your wife when she has her menopause.'"
Jiang Peizhi coughed. He said nothing as he really didn't intend to anger her, and Mo Ruolan left the room to go to the kitchen.
Jiang Peizhi was happy at the thought that he would meet his best friend soon.

Next evening, New York Airport.
A young man and woman briskly walked inside the crowded airport to their terminal. The young man was carrying a backpack on his shoulder, a tablet in one hand, and the plane tickets in the other. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and black jeans with sneakers.
The woman was carrying a cute, girlish white backpack on her shoulder with a stuffed pink bunny hanging on one side and a mug of coffee in her hands. She was wearing a pink top, blue jeans, and a pair of cute pink booties.
"Yuyan, let's hurry up. At this rate, we will miss our flight." The man looked annoyed.
"Then let's miss it, brother Yang. I don't want to go, anyway. If it were not the wedding anniversary of grandfather and grandmother Lu, I would have done my best to avoid this trip to China," said the young woman called Yuyan, as she sipped on her coffee.
"C'mon, little sis, you know you can't avoid this, so just be fast. Actually, we need to run now."
The young man called Yang held Yuyan's hand and dragged her along with him as he ran towards the terminal.
At some distance away from them, from the opposite direction, a pair of two men was stepping faster towards the same terminus.
"Boss, slow down. We will be there on time," the man following one handsome man in front of him said, trying to catch his breath.
The handsome man looked at him and frowned, making the other gulp his protest and follow silently.
He was wearing a stylish business suit, with a white shirt inside it, looking so handsome that it was quite impossible for the people around not to notice such a royal man. He walked briskly, making a way through the crowd, garnering curious looks from the males and females that surrounded him.
At some distance, the handsome man in the business suit collided with the young woman called Yuyan as they were heading towards the same terminal from opposite directions. The coffee in her hand spilled onto his suit.
The man frowned as he looked at his stained shirt, his irritation clear on his face. He moved his gaze from his shirt to the woman in front of him.
Because of the sudden collision, she had been rendered confused, too. Their eyes met. The man was over six feet, compared to the short woman; she barely reached his chin.
When the man looked at Yuyan's face, he froze on the spot and his anger dissipated. Her face looked attractive, even though she was clearly confused.
His sight took a quick glimpse of her face, beautiful deep brown starry eyes, baby-soft radiant skin, her rosy pink lips parted away because of shock, and finally, the tiny pointed nose and those furrowed lines on her forehead clearly showed she would burst in anger.
She looked down at the coffee mug in her hand, and her expression turned angrier. Looking back at him she said, "Do you have your eyes at the back of your head?" The man didn't reply and just kept staring at her.
The man standing behind the handsome man spoke up, "Miss, it was not my boss's fault alone, and…" before he could finish, the handsome young man cut him off.
"Let's go. We are getting late, assistant Xiao Min." With that, they strode towards the terminal.
The young woman frowned as she looked at his retreating back. "So rude! Left without an apology."
Turning her sight to look at the spilled coffee mug, she commented in a sad voice, "Rest in peace, my tasty coffee."
These two were Jiang Peizhi and Mo Ruolan's Children, the son- Jiang Yang and the daughter- Jiang Yuyan.
Jiang Yang took the coffee mug from Jiang Yuyan's hand, threw it into the trash bin nearby.
"Your eyes are at the back of your head, too, Yuyan." Smiling, he commented and mumbled. "Why do I feel like that man is familiar?" Shaking his head, he moved forward while dragging his sister along with him.
As Jiang siblings entered the flight, they saw the men from earlier seated inside. Jiang Yuyan gave them a displeased look and moved her sight in the opposite direction. After checking the seat numbers, Jiang siblings sat in their seats, which was in front of these two men.
The plane finally took off, and after some time it was flying in the air. The air hostess finished with the safety instructions and served refreshments to passengers. These four were relaxed as they could catch the flight on time.
The flight they booked before had been canceled as there were some technical issues. So, they had to book another flight, but there were no business class seats available and they had to travel in the economy class.
"Yuyan, we are finally on a plane. I thought we would definitely miss it." Jiang Yang gave out a sigh of relief.
Jiang Yuyan was still upset. "It would have been better that way. Why didn't we miss it?" She looked at her brother, "You know that I don't want to go back to China and don't want to study there, but you are on their side. I hate you, brother!" She said, sadness clear in her eyes.
"It's not like that. You are taking this the wrong way. Our parents have always done things for our benefit. This time, mom was firm on her decision, and nobody could change it."
"I think education is just an excuse. They must have found someone they want me to marry. Otherwise, what's with the sudden change in attitude?" She still carried the frustrated expression.
"They will do nothing against your will, let alone marriage," Jiang Yang said with concern in his eyes.
Both were unaware that the men sitting behind could hear them.
"Boss, why didn't you say anything to them? It was not our fault. How could she talk to you like that? You shouldn't have stopped me," Assistant Xiao Min said with dissatisfaction.
"She is not someone you can deal like this." Saying, the man closed his eyes and leaned back in the seat to take rest, his lips slightly curved upward.
His boss's words confused the assistant, but before he could ask further, the man seemingly fell asleep. Though his eyes were closed, his full attention was on the siblings' conversation.
"They will definitely hook me up with someone," Jiang Yuyan said, not ready to understand.
Jiang Yang decided to tease her instead of making her understand. "They will not find someone ordinary for you. That person must be a third-generation rich family heir or CEO of a company," he said with a mischievous smile on his face.
"I don't want to marry any rich family's heir or CEO types," she said angrily.
"Huh! What... What is there not to like? Every single girl out there dreams for such a person." Her words quite surprised Jiang Yang.
"Brother Yang, I am not like those girls who run after money. I read lots of novels that these rich heirs are scary people. They always carry cold aura around them with no facial expressions… like they have a facial paralysis. They are scary, rude, ignorant, inconsiderate, stubborn, have no feelings, treat women like...Ummm like..." She was struggling for a word and looking here and there to get it.
Jiang Yang pointed to the water bottle in front of him and asked, "Water bottle?"
Jiang Yuyan shook her head, "No, brother!"
Then he pointed to the coffee mug in front of him and asked, "Coffee? Coffee mug?"
"Brother Yang! That's not it, either."
Then he pointed to the last thing left on the small tray in front of him and asked, "Tissue paper?"
"Yes, that's it! Tissue paper!" Her face reverted to her original expression.
"They treat women like tissue paper, use them as they please, and then throw them away," Jiang Yuyan said these words with a face full of rage. It was as if she was the leader of all women who had suffered under such men.
"You could have used a water bottle or coffee mug too, as they are also meant to use and throw," Jiang Yang said to annoy his sister, but she ignored and continued.
"You know, they can cause heart attacks by just staring at feeble-hearted women. They are always busy with work, have no time for family, look down on others…" all these words were said in a single breath.
Jiang Yang was almost worried about his sister and wanted to ask her to breathe when she stopped on her own accord. Her face was flushed as she gasped for breath. Then she continued.
"And there is more. They are—"
"Stop! I understand," Jiang Yang stopped her before she could say any more.
She stopped with a puzzled look on her face. Jiang Yang sighed in relief and was not in a mood to hear his sister's rant.
At the same time, the man behind them was listening to everything with his eyes closed. "She is still the same," he mumbled with a big smile, making his assistant amazed at the eye-catching view.
