章節 5: Now You Know
Today's breakfast in Liu family's mansion was more quiet than usual. The First Young Master was currently out of the country. So only the three of them were eating their breakfast.
Both men preferred toast bread, eggs, bacon and some fruits for their breakfast. As for Madam Liu, she was having a small bowl of congee, dumplings and fruits.
Madam Liu who's normally talkative was somewhat quiet today. She was actually a little worried that if she say anything Liu Zijian might find some clues. She opted to be silent in line with her 'sulking' attitude yesterday.
Liu Zijian on the other hand was thinking carefully as he recalled the guests in the party he attended the other day. Before he received the list from Ye Ming, his assistant, he's trying to remember the guests who talked to him.
Mr. Liu continuously observed the two people who were eating while contemplating seriously over something.
After finishing their breakfast, Liu Zijian left earlier than his Dad saying he needed to do something first.
Mr. Liu faced Madam Liu when Liu Zijian's car went out of the gate.
"Yi Min, I told you not to over do your prank to that kid. He's too serious and he holds grudges. What do you think will happen to the other party when he finds it out?"
Madam Lui looked surprised when she heard what her husband said. She blinked exaggeratedly her eyes. She didn't know that he knew her scheme. She normally wanted to come clean but he continued when he read her facial expressions saying 'how did you know?'
"Whose people do you think you contacted for this?" He smiled knowingly.
Correct. They were indeed his people.
"Meixui isn't in this country anymore. He can't do anything to her." She was so assured as she answered her husband.
"Don't underestimate your son's grudge." He said with a tone of warning but his eyes were slightly smiling.
She was so assured that even if Lui Zijian found out everything, he would just scold her and let it go. She was confident that her son would not over do his revenge specially if the 'culprit' wasn't in this country anymore. But when her husband told her not to underestimate his son's grudge, she started to worry. What if suddenly Meixiu decided to come back! That would be the worst case scenario.
When her husband left, she called the people involved in their scheme and double check everything to be sure that her son couldn't get any evidence. She also specifically told them to inform if anything happens.
Liu Zijian summoned Ye Ming when he arrived in his office. His assistant then gave him some files.
"What's in there?" He wanted him to summarize what he found out.
"There was no out of the ordinary instances in the party based from the video. I also checked the guests whereabouts and none of them went to Royal Hotel suspiciously. "
In short the proprietor was not in the party. Maybe the person was contacted by one of the attendees. Someone was hired to drug and tied him up.
The biggest question that he couldn't answer was the motive behind the incident.
If the master mind wanted to harm him or his family, he or she could've kill him directly. Even though he was drugged, the drug wasn't harmful at all.
If someone wanted him to sleep with a woman or a woman wanted to sleep with him, the drug should be aphrodisiac and not a simple sleeping drug. Besides only his upper body was severely 'attacked'. He still had his pants on according to his mother. Only his shirt was taken off. Although he was 'taken advantage off' it was only half way.
The moment he remembered those hickeys the rage started to rise again. He needed to calm himself to solve this problem. He would definitely release his grudge once he found out who dared to harass him.
Maybe someone wanted to humiliate him and just waiting for a perfect timing to expose the 'scandal'.
'What a cheap trick,' he snorted. He's not a celebrity that relies on one's popularity. A scandal like that would just be a waste of time and resources of the culprit. "How about the video from Royal Hotel?"
"That.. I managed to get them but the people who carried you were truly aware of the blind spots and deliberately avoided the cameras. We couldn't get their faces. And..." Ye Ming started to sweat. He couldn't understand it either. He clearly saw the two men carrying the young master but only one man went out. He didn't know how to actually say those words without losing his little life. He didn't want to be misunderstood so he was trying to carefully choose the words on how to say that he was alone with a man inside the room.
"And what?" His aura was getting extremely dangerous and Ye Ming wanted jump out of the window to escape.
"Please Second Young Master Liu, watch the video," after thinking thoroughly Ye Ming gave up and utter those words.
Lui Zijian took the out the USB and watched the video.
'I was alone with a man? It was a man who made those....' he slammed the table and some of the things fell out. The laptop almost flipped over. Good thing Ye Ming was fast enough to catch it.
After a tremendous effort to calm himself down Lui Zijian ordered Ye Ming again.
"Check all the people coming in and out from the lobby and other entrances including employees' entrance. Cross reference those faces from their respective rooms and be sure to match their movement in the records. If there's any anomaly inform me. Also, provide me the list of all the employees on duty during that time. For those who were assigned in the presidential suite floor, gather them around. I will personally 'talk' to them." Liu Zijian angrily said. His gaze was extremely sharp. He was clasping both of hands together tightly.
Looking at this Second Young Master, Ye Ming imagined a bloodbath battle field filled with dead bodies. He silently prayed for those people that will receive his wrath.
After Ye Ming left, Second Young Master Liu watched the video from Royal hotel again. He paused and rewind several times before he a sinister smile broke on his handsome face.
