章節 20: Commotion
"Haaa..." Wei Wuxian sighed as he rested his head on his palm, thinking. "No use, huh...?" he muttered and frowned, remembered the disastrous event just as his birthday is about to end.
Gusu – last night.
"I told you, I don't know you." Jiang Cheng said as he stormed in the hall.
"Wanyin – " Lan Xichen called, following behind Jiang Cheng.
They all turned to the two newcomers.
"Wanyin, wait – " Lan Xichen said. " – why don't you listen to me first - ?" he asked.
Jiang Cheng didn't turn to him and continued walking. "I don't know you – " he told him as he went to the food table.
They all looked at each other. What the hell happened to them (LXC and JC)? They thought, obviously Wei Wuxian's birthday is also a set up for the two (LXC and JC). That's why they held it in Gusu.
"Wanyin – " Lan Xichen called again.
"Oh. Ah Ling. Is that food delicious - ?" Jiang Cheng asked, completely ignoring Lan Xichen, when he saw his nephew's eating.
Dark lines covered Jin Ling's face as he looked at his uncle – waiting for his answer, then to Lan Xichen whose gentle face is surprisingly dark right now.
"E-err..." Jin Ling said, don't know what to do.
"Z-ZeWu-Jun..." Lan Sizhui called, saving Jin Ling from Lan Xichen. But, he grimaced when Lan Xichen just glanced at him, then immediately turned back to Jiang Cheng.
The silent Lan Wangji quietly pulled the two (LSZ and JL) away, together with Lan Jingyi since obviously it'd be the next junior (LJY) Jiang Cheng will use as a scapegoat from Lan Xichen.
Like expected, Jiang Cheng's face went dark when he saw there's nobody around them and only he and Lan Xichen were left in the center.
"Wanyin." Lan Xichen called, looking at his back.
Jiang Cheng didn't answer. Everybody's watching them.
"I love you." He told him.
